elsiegee40 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Recommend me one! We just replaced ours at home. Which? Best Buys were nearly all made by Fellowes so that’s what we went with.
mavhc Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I recommend people actually oil their shredders like the instructions say to

pete Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 We have HSM Securio B22 models. They're not bad for paper. The manual says they can shred CDs. It fails to mention that the shredded CD will have a 40% chance of exploding inside the mechanism, requiring dismantling before being able to shred anything else.
MatthewL Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I recommend people actually oil their shredders like the instructions say to Do agree with this too, found our after killing 2 or 3. Current one is a Fellows DS-700C and has had a hammering and still going well. Your supposed to oil it every time you empty but speaking to someone at Fellows they said you can cover a sheet of A4 in sunflower oil and feed that through and does just as good job albeit a bit messy. Mine accepts credit cards too so can shred the old ones up. 1
