Seb1780 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I picked up a edugeek mug badge lanyard, intel mousemat some random pens and that was it. To me bett seemed a bit monotone this year compared to others. There were Edugeek mugs? I didn't get offered one of them!! I too thought the whole event was lacklustre this year; too many of the people I spoke to were saying "nothing new but we have plans".

I must have gone to Edugeek too late for a mug :-( it was nice to meet @elsiegee40 (and a lady in an RM top whose name I didn't catch) and partake in eduhobnobs though :-) 1
karldenton Posted January 27, 2017 Author Posted January 27, 2017 My haul from yesterday - I also got a small Ruckus dog from the Ruckus stand Didn't see much of any interest really
timbo343 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Apparently I'm Thursday's winner of a Ruckus Big dog. It says i need to collect the prize from the stand. I wonder if work will let me go back down for it.
CAM Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I'm sure someone on here will go and "collect" it for you. Having moved into a new flat, I will have to go on a mug hunting mission tomorrow alongside hoovering up a supply of pens to last me the year!
Dos_Box Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 *Just in case you missed this in the EduGeek stand thread* Today's pizza has been very kindly provided by Net-Ctrl and will be on the stand around 12:30. Afterwards you can also visit their stand (C63) for a chance to win Lego Star Wars toys and Ruckus dogs

Stormborn15 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Opening up the cider after a hard days work. [emoji23] the u shape has a spongy layer and the top comes off to reveal more sponge - almost like a v small whiteboard eraser.. 1
pooley Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Their hardware is, if I understand correctly from talking to the people on the stand, going to be around £2,000 for a box of 8 devices. That's £250 per device, although I understand they won't be selling them as individual units, only in boxes of 8. Not quite sure if that includes all their content, or whether that's a separate cost of some sort. £1999 for the 8 headsets with charging box and then the classconnect control and content portal is £250 a year for primary and £500 for secondary. All vr content currently free. They have around 500 VR and AR resources already and are about to do a deal with 360cities and possibly BBC to license their content too. 1

Hey Tim, If you didn't manage to get your dog let me know and i'll grab it for you tomorrow, happy to drop off next time I'm passing (at least once every couple of weeks i'm back in Wakefield / Leeds general area). I'll PM you my mobile. Mic 1
