I personally like a good carvery, so some options: Sycamore Farm, Burnley or a Toby Carvery - Preston, Bury or Keighley. Slam interest here. Also I was thinking one day in the holidays, then we don't have to worry about trying to get time off or whatever.

Depending where I'm staying or working both of those can be five minutes away! Sycamore Farm has a good range of real ale!
