As I would be coming up from Widnes I would prefer Lunch - can't drink so.... -- but would come up for dinner if necessary The further south the better but I would still come if it is in Preston Will come unless we book a last minute hol. which clashes

Unfortunately I don't have any local knowledge so I have no real preference of location, they all sound good. I should be able to make all three. Also for information, the following have stated an interest earlier in the thread for attending. busby, DJ-1701, Dos_Box, Garacesh, Gibbo, Mark182, mikeprice, RichCowell, robsonma, sted. It's short notice but if it were in Preston i could probably come out for Food / Drinks after work. There's a few decent places to eat in town and there's always the Ferret for good beer / live music / smokehouse burgers/hotdogs/ribs etc

Though if you can avoid the A64 on the way in it would be wise. It's nuts in the summer holidays! And can't you do all the W10 stuff remotely? Bring a tablet or something!

I'm up for during the holidays. How about Friday 29th July? I should be done rolling out W10 by then, so sounds good to me. Excellent. Now we need to think of a place!! Need to try and not suggest Nando's !!!!!! I'll see if I can book off the 29th, that is, if you are allowing any dirty southerns to attend? Suppose I will allow it... Woot! Also got confirmation today. Uhhhh ohhhh... funny story... I'm in Scotland on the 29th!! Feel free to still meet up without me though! ... if nothing goes ahead tomorrow though which looks more and more likely, I will just catch when I next can, but if it's a weekday that would be after the summer due to how our holiday procedure works. Oh - and events have overtaken me and I am not available for the next week - really annoyed if I miss meeting up with you lot but....... Don't worry @mikeprice, even if it was I am sure something will be arranged in the future anyway. I mean Joanne and Garacesh can't attend unless there is some divine intervention and they were very keen on the idea, heck Joanne started the thread.
