6Foot2 Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJrLyUVqfUk A mum-of-one believes she's caught a poltergeist on camera - violently shaking the washing line in her back garden. Lyndsey Mann filmed the spooky clip on her mobile phone on Monday afternoon (Oct 3) which shows her dryer rattling on a still and clear afternoon with no apparent sign of what was causing the movement. Now Lyndsey, who eventually fled inside after the shaking became too strange, is wondering if it was a ghost that caused the weird goings on. The clip begins with Lyndsey filming in the garden in Armthorpe, near Doncaster, South Yorks., after what appears to be an earlier encounter of the dryer rattling. In the video, which has been shared and viewed more than 2,000 times on Facebook, Lyndsey says: "I think it's stopped now" but is urged by a voice off camera to be careful as she approaches the washing rotary, which was laden with pegs. 2

6Foot2 Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Saturday evening far off coast from Marquette, Michigan appeared this mysterious ship that had to be gigantic! Almost as if a ghost ship was showing itself to the world.. Even if it was a ship, what could be that tall in these choppy waves?
Joanne Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 There must be a logical explanation for the ghost ship? Perhaps water columns? It sounds windy....
Duranis Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 There must be a logical explanation for the ghost ship? Perhaps water columns? It sounds windy.... Just a mirage, probably just a ship on the horizon and the mirage creates a lens effect which distorts the shape of it. It is pretty common along with ones that make boats look like they are floating above the water. 1
DCUK6 Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Had a funny one with my mum the other night. Not sure if anyone has done it but if you have have a wet glass and turn it upside down and quickly put down it will move depending on how wet the surface gets. Mum did this with one of her old glasses after washing them and it moved about 10-15cm. She swears it was a ghost. 1

Mum did this with one of her old glasses after washing them and it moved about 10-15cm. She swears it was a ghost. The liquid on the bottom of the glass completes a loop to form a seal. This lifts the glass, by just a small amount, enough to reduce the friction between the glass and the surface it is standing on. If the surface has a light incline this can be enough to cause the glass to move.
Brad_Sarge Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 This happens everyday in my office, there are 3 radios set up on an encrypted channel called IT-Private I am currently the only one in the office however all the radios are still on in their charging docs. Everyday around 1 pm a funny noise come from the radios a muffled like speech that you cant quite make out what its saying. The speech goes on for about 30 seconds and stops 3 times within those 30 seconds. About 2 minutes after that my desk phone rings from an outside number. I pick up and say hello but all you can hear is the phone being put down. Very strange. I will try and video the radio making sounds one day. Also if your alone in some of the school corridors after school hours or in the holidays you get a very strange feeling of being watched all the time, As well as the obvious sounds of doors opening and closing and squeaking even though their is definitely no one opening/closing them. As well as the orbs that always seem to pop up in certain corridors on the CCTV. Very strange old school. 4

DJ-1701 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 OMG love it. Do you get the number from the phone call or is it withheld? Spooky... I'm guessing 'Out of area'.
Brad_Sarge Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 @Joanne The number displays and I have tried calling back befor but it doesnt connect to anything, just a dead line as soon as you ring.... 1
Joanne Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 Someone from the dead is trying to get in touch!! What does Google say about the number?

Perhaps Microsoft can see your Radios have viruses and call you up to help you deal with them for the cheap price of a £200 iTunes gift card. I like watching the records of CCTV at night. Unfortunately no one has jumped out towards the camera or seen any spooky figures walking around, but I have seen the lift looks as though it's been called. The floor number changes, the the lift door opens, but as their are 2 "floors" it opens away from the camera so you just see a big bright light from the lift. This was at like 3am. Nothing can be seen and no shadows though.

Zer0 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Maybe it does a self test at that time? Love stuff like this!! No No. Definitely a ghost. Only explanation. Although the caretakers and cleaners have reported foot steps on the floor above towards where the lift is while there isn't anyone around. I haven't heard anything while being there in the holidays by myself though. But then I'm not paranoid about every bit of noise I hear. Besides seeing the things like above above on CCTV, I've not experienced anything else while being a lone. I did see a photo that someone took of something that looks like a figure in a room. That looked weird as it's a room without windows so there isn't any light from outside. Still could be light flare. Just looked odd. Although the person I saw it from seems to have many stories. Funnily enough I sometimes smell something that bulls produce when he said some of them.
Joanne Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 Hahahah. Some people are more susceptible I think. If you can't explain what happened then 'ghosts'. I did it when there was an earthquake back in... 2007ish? We woke up in bed and it was moving a lot. Husband jumped out of bed thinking someone was in the house, I thought it was him jiggling his leg, but the bed still moved when he was out of it. It eventually stopped and I was like... what the hell just happened? Didn't think earthquake, because that doesn't happen in the UK. So we decided it was ghosts and went back to sleep!

Not spooky goings on, nor an earthquake, but something similar: When the Buncefield explosion went off we were about 1/2 a mile away as the crow flies. The whole house shook!

Duranis Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Tv's used to switch channels and turn on and off when I was around all the time. More than one type of TV over a period of a few years did this. Just as a little update to this. When I was talking to my Mum at Christmas she mentioned to me that she was going to have to get a new TV for her bedroom. I asked her what was wrong with hers (I have fixed quite a few TV'S) and she said that it keeps turning itself on and switching channels. She is sleeping in the room I used to sleep in. She got seriously freaked out when I told her that the TV is probably fine and it happened to me all the time when I lived there
3s-gtech Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Did you also fall asleep on the remote in there?
korifugi Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Did you also fall asleep on the remote in there? Wouldn't that mean @Duranis was merely on standby?
