I remember all of this too (similar age). At high school we had ice cream vans on the school ground, burgers, pizzas, chips, pop, crisps for lunch (all before Jamie Oliver and his healthy eating scheme). But I look back and there weren't many fat kids. And there wasn't in primary school where it was sweets all the time. It's nothing to do with sugar (even though I won't argue it's a factor), but look back and see how many kids used to play in the street and school playground no matter the weather. Now kids are inside all the time at school. Oh, it's spitting a bit? Wet lunch inside. Bit cold? Inside. Health and Safety has a lot to do with it. You can't do anything without it being a risk. And then the kids get home from school and play video games, uses their expensive phones they have had bought to play Angry birds. People aren't active enough to balance their weight. I used to eat loads of sweets, but I also used to play outside most evenings and weekends. You can cut out sugar as much as you like, but if you're eating more calories than you're burning, you'll put on weight. It's as simple as that.

Shame. But CCTV internally has been useful for when we've been broken into. Not sure if the Police caught them though but provided them with some good footage. Not caught anything spooky. Well, besides the lift opening its door at 2am. Could just see a big bright light from it (since the door were facing away from the camera). People claim to hear footsteps when no one else is around, but I've not seen/heard anything unfortunately.

M62 is a nightmare. Multiple times this year I've seen something ridiculous. Someone going 55 MPH in the outside lane causing traffic to undertake, cars swerving only to see the driver looking at their phone, lane hogging, no indicators to move out with hardly any space to, people checking their mirrors AFTER they started to pull out in front of you without an indicator.

I use SCCM for updates. It was all set up before I got here so I'm unsure as to how they both integrate and don't know much on WSUS since I don't use it. I've had a few issues with SCCM but they're more errors made by myself or my predecessor, things such as updates installing during the day or showing that updates need to be installed, but that's down to how they've been scheduled and is an easy fix. I download the updates through SCCM from the internet, but you can point to a location on your network if WSUS has already downloaded them. If you have created a custom search to search all the updates (eg just search for relevant updates to your network), when you highlight them all, right click > Download > Select deployment package > Download location. Here you have the option to download from the internet or a location on your network. For us, SCCM is the main management tool for software, updates, Endpoint protection. If you use SCCM often, it makes sense to just use the updates in their rather than using another tool to do the same job. Only thing I don't trust it for is updating Servers. Mainly because as we all know updates can cause issues. So I do these manually through windows update so I can keep an eye on them and make sure the server doesn't hang after/before a reboot and it's left sitting their for a day/night before we realise. It's time consuming, but I've had an important server hang after installing updates from SCCM (installing them in the middle of the night seems like a good idea until this happens and you get in to tons of missed calls because the server didn't reboot correctly). - - - Updated - - - I use SCCM for updates. No No. Definitely a ghost. Only explanation. Although the caretakers and cleaners have reported foot steps on the floor above towards where the lift is while there isn't anyone around. I haven't heard anything while being there in the holidays by myself though. But then I'm not paranoid about every bit of noise I hear. Besides seeing the things like above above on CCTV, I've not experienced anything else while being a lone. I did see a photo that someone took of something that looks like a figure in a room. That looked weird as it's a room without windows so there isn't any light from outside. Still could be light flare. Just looked odd. Although the person I saw it from seems to have many stories. Funnily enough I sometimes smell something that bulls produce when he said some of them.

Perhaps Microsoft can see your Radios have viruses and call you up to help you deal with them for the cheap price of a £200 iTunes gift card. I like watching the records of CCTV at night. Unfortunately no one has jumped out towards the camera or seen any spooky figures walking around, but I have seen the lift looks as though it's been called. The floor number changes, the the lift door opens, but as their are 2 "floors" it opens away from the camera so you just see a big bright light from the lift. This was at like 3am. Nothing can be seen and no shadows though.

My mum got told by a fish and chip shop worker there are also dodgy ones that they've had in. Also the current other notes have fakes that are coming out of ATM machines. Guy in the shop at the same time as my mum had his money rejected and said it came out of the bank. The worker said she's seen people take money out the cashpoint over the road, (still in hand from the ATM to the shop so no swapping) and it be fake.

It wasn't today, or maybe not that strange, but I had to clear the snow back when we had it. Not that I minded,like. The school had a Quad Bike attached with a gritter and snowplough so that was a fun morning. All up until the point I had to do it the old fashioned way. I should have said a server was exploding and left!

That's the same as most companies though. I can't recall any time a company has let me/family know about a better deal they're offering. And why would they when you're happily paying over the odds for something they can provide cheaper? Our ISP never tells us we can get X amount of things for cheaper. Mobile Phone company has never told me, or my brother, we can get more minutes/data for the same price, if not cheaper. The electric and gas companies have never done it either. And certainly not any insurance company has done it either! I'd like to know what companies you go with that actively tell you how to save money with them.
