Not a Ghost story but when my Gran was in hospital I went to see her. She wasn't going to come home. She was 91.

 

The weirdest thing happened. I knew she was leaving us, but I had to get home 90 miles away so had to leave, so I leant over the bed to kiss her. The room was fairly bright and she was with us, just. She said something like 'Im here Sid'. I'm not Sid. My Grandad was Sid and he died in '96. To this day I wonder, what did she see ? She knew I was there as she had been mumbling to me and said my name once or twice - she'd been quiet for about 30 mins before I left.

The same thing happened when my father sat with my Gran when she passed. Said exactly the same thing but with a different name.

Haha yeah, and actually it was the fact the time didn't show seconds (and the font it was in) that made me think it was fake more than the camera angle/position etc, more attention to detail needed next time!

 

I've seen white flashes before but it's usually something flying very close to the camera when the IR is turned on.

The focus kept blurring on the right hand side, too. Stop motion perhaps?

I think the rocking locker is something to do with the window behind it

The rocking cabinet is a broom handle through the window, the others a bit of fishing wire probably.

I've just found this thread, so thought I'd share my ghostly experience.

 

When I worked for the local authority, we did a whole network install in a secondary school during the summer holidays, the school is in a 200 year old building. We was on the first floor setting up their new ICT Suite and there was just 4 of us and the school's ICT technician onsite. I popped downstairs to the toilet, on my way back up the stairs I could distinctly hear a baby crying for 2-3 seconds and it only stopped when I got to the top of the stairs. The ICT Suite we was working on was about 10 meters away from the stairs and I asked the guys if they had heard a baby crying to which they all replied no. When I saw the ICT technician who was working in another room, I told him what I had heard and he told me that before it became a school the building used to be an orphanage! That really made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!
