Boys sometimes reveal all (says she being delicate) It's a once seen, never forgotten experience... totally disproportionate. By about 6" shell length (measured as a straight line) you should be able to tell with a reasonable degree of certainty.

Personally pets wise (thanks to my other half): 12 cats, 3 dogs, 6 chinchillas and 4 horses.

It's a very real possibility.

 

The urge to own something that will love me unconditionally, accept my cuddles....and possibly allow me to dress them in jumpers....is massive at the moment.

That wouldn't work too well with either of mine - Kymme (the dog) would eat it and any attempt to put a jumper on Ringo (the cat) would result in you pulling back stumps*.

Here's my Golden Labrador Olly (he lives with my parents). He's an old man now, 13 this year, but he's still just as mischevious (for about an hour a day and then he has to have a long nap). I love him to bits and miss living with him
