dcwhitworth Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Some of those puns are so bad it should be a crema. I think we're all more tolerant in these latte days.

6Foot2 Posted June 3, 2020 Author Posted June 3, 2020 No picture, because I was driving, but on the way home yesterday in the searing heat I saw 2 guys walking the stretch between the edge of my town and one of the nearby villages (about one and a half miles) dressed as Mario and Luigi in full boiler suits, gloves and caps. They had transport (a kart) but it was toad.
DVane Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Before working in IT I worked in a trampoline factory; it had its ups and downs. Before that though I worked in an elastic band factory; I always feel like I'm being pulled back to it. I've always wanted to be a Barber though should IT not work out for me. I don't like the thought of hairy situations. Maybe I should follow in my Father's footsteps instead and work in the Glue Factory instead? He always said he was getting into sticky situations there though... Maybe the paint factory then? Wait, no, I steal Office supplies. I'd rather not get caught red handed. 1

mikeprice Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Personally I used to be a psychic - but I couldn't see any future in it then I lost my job as a maze designer I tried to work in a needle factory - but I didn't see the point for a few days I was a lumberjack - but then I got the axe
jthompson Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 I once worked for a company that designed bicycle tyres. When I first got the job I was totally pumped, but as time wore on it all just felt a bit, I dunno... flat.
Ditto Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 I used to sell candles; it was a high pressure sales job buy and in the end I burnt-out.

smurfomatic Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Had a delivery this morning, at first glance I thought I'd somehow ordered the world's biggest Toblerone. It would have been a mountain to climb to eat it all!
6Foot2 Posted September 14, 2020 Author Posted September 14, 2020 I saw this on my walk this morning: I didn't go through as it isn't my stile.
