I submitted 10 of the puns on here to the worst pun competition, fully expecting one to win...

I think to work out some of these puns you need a little matter. I wonder if this is what is meant by colourful language.

That might be a area. However, I can see that these puns are improving. It might make some other members eyed.

Well it is obvious what the battery was charged with... ;)

The salt looks shaken up...

I think the money launderer is all washed up...

 

If he's used to living the high life due to the money - I feel he's in for a tumble

 

the battery too is feeling the drain...

 

On a positive - he could give up any criminal contacts for a reduction in charge. (It'd be a negative for them though!)
