Garacesh Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Fallout 3 seems good so far, especially now i've got an assault rifle (In the Simulator mission anyways...which is taking ages!) Operation Anchorage? It's all about that Gauss Rifle and energy weapons in Fallout 3.
Tesla Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 Yeah, that one, i'm finding the gauss rifle hard to aim atm, tbh any single fire gun... hence i was glad when i got the Assault Rifle
Zoom7000 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Most recently completed: Batman Arkham Knight Recently Bought (Not yet completed): Fifa 16 (Completion not applicable) Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain On Pre-Order: Football Manager 2016
Grey-gear Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Recently finished Metal Gear Solid 5 and not have just download Thomas was alone
Tesla Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 Debating FM 2016... got 2015 a few months back, am now in 2019-2020 season, as Newcastle, with nothing to show for it. I am possibly going to be selling my wonderkid though, his value on his own is 28 million
Garacesh Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Yeah, that one, i'm finding the gauss rifle hard to aim atm, tbh any single fire gun... hence i was glad when i got the Assault Rifle Weapons (especially those with a scope) get steadier the more points in its weapon type you have. At 100, a zoomed-in sniper rifle or gauss rifle doesn't move.
Tesla Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) Do they hold seperate levels though? Im assuming sniper rifle is the big gun skill and the gauss is energy gun? I boosted up my Small Guns, Speech, and *thinks* explosives? (the one that makes you good at deactivating things), from the G.O.A.T. I got lucky with the atom bomb in Megaton too. I'm already a Lady Killer. Edited October 12, 2015 by Tesla
Garacesh Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) I think so? Truth be told I don't fully recall, as I could never get Fallout 3 working on Win7+ (an issue hammering a lot of users..), so have to use the Tale of Two Wastelands mod, making F3 work on the F:NV engine, where yes, they are separate. They may not be in vanilla Fallout 3.. You mention big guns and energy gun, so I'll assume they do. Big Guns = Fat Man, Rocket Launcher, etc. Energy Weapons = Anything that uses MicroFusion or Energy cells. Guns = Anything that uses bullets. Edited October 12, 2015 by Garacesh

Seems fair, either way, it's like Skyrim but with guns, which is cool in my book. I'm surprised it struggles in Win 7 though?
Garacesh Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 It doesn't 'struggle' as much as 'doesn't work at all'. Check SPUF, for example, you'll see tonnes of people complaining (and many more mentioning to download TOTW as the only fix). There are supposedly a few fixes that work such as forcing multi-core processing, compatability mode etc, but they don't work for everybody (I'd argue, looking at the responses, they don't work for 80%+ of users).. Strangely, it 'just works' for some other people. My housemate had it working on her machine without any troubles at all.

The two of us in this office with it didn't have any problems either although we both thought new vegas was the better game
korifugi Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Picked up GTA5, Bloodbourne & Mad Max finally - just trying to finally platinum Diablo 3 before I start on them. Also trying to finish (read platinum) Just Cause 2 & Army of Two: Devil's Cartel on the 3
Zoom7000 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Debating FM 2016... got 2015 a few months back, am now in 2019-2020 season, as Newcastle, with nothing to show for it. I am possibly going to be selling my wonderkid though, his value on his own is 28 million I skipped 2015 as I didn't really play 2014 much, but got it at £12. I managed to pick up 2016 on pre-order in August from CDkeys.com for just under £20. I haven't played FM in a long time though, so it's gonna take some getting used to with all the new features and changes.
sted Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 as its free on xbox games with gold downloaded the walking dead season 1 on Saturday completed the main story on Sunday (still got the bonus chapter to do) but for the least interactive game ive ever played I enjoyed it though its a bit brutal as ---probably not much of a spoiler--- pretty much everyone dies though ive not seen much of the tv series I tried a few times but its just too graphic for my taste (but then so is casualty)
Garacesh Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Completed Deadpool yesterday. Had a lot of fun with that one. Combat did get a bit same-y but the humour and fourth-wall breaking was perfect.
Suteijian Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Last Game Bought: Destiny: The taken king (XB1) - Really enjoying it so far, jump puzzles make me want to throw it out the window though.. Last Game Completed: Binding of Issac: Rebirth - The real platinum god
LosOjos Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Not a game you can really "complete" (though I'm working on the trophies) but I've been utterly obsessed with Rocket League lately. Just one more go!
sted Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 completed walking dead series 1 bought back to the future 30th anniversary I don't know why but these games that are barely games esp walking dead its more an interactive comic book its rare you do anything other than push a/b/x/y/nowt to select dialogue im actually enjoying whereas I cba with say halo mcc its becoming a slog and no fun
mikeyd101 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Last Brought: dungeon keeper gold, dungeon keeper 2, sim hospital (on gog) and Assetto Corsa DLC #2, dead island bundle (steam). Last completed: GTA V GOG games are for wifey. Most of my time is still consumed by Assetto Corsa (550hrs+).
Joanne Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 OMG there's a SIM Hospital? Is it like theme hospital!?
foofighterjim Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Yes, some of the conditions are hilarious, bloaty head springs to mind. Although it is a little repetitive as you progress through the game.
Garacesh Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Patients are reminded to not die in the corridors.. (HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR IS CHEATING!!)
Garacesh Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 What's GOG? #ConsoleGamer Good Old Games, a PC distributor of abandonware games.
