They were pretty good years ago, but since then they've turned into a trainwreck, not to mention their affiliate system never actually pays out. Their customer service does the typical sending around in circles until you give up. Their delivery times aren't anywhere near as fast as Kinguin or G2Play either. Their prices also aren't nearly as competitive.

Definitely agree, the guy who started it (who was a teenager from my county, wooooo) had a good idea and rolled with it but it's definitely gone down hill. I've had to deal with the support once and I had to resend my comments to them about 4 times before they understood what I actually meant, not sure if he's outsourcing his customer service to somewhere else but it's appalling! What's the best alternative (for myself and others)?
LiamH Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I'm always suspicious about these sites, there was the whole far cry 4 scandal where the keys got canceled, plus i know a lot of people used to sell multiplayer banned keys and stuff on those kind of sites if they got caught hacking. I would rather wait for a steam sale/Humble bundle (Lots of Tom Clancy games this month!) On topic i have been playing BF4 a lot, completed the short single player campaign and been having fun on multiplayer. Bought the $10 humble bundle but not touched any of those yet.

foofighterjim Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I 100%ed Final Fantasy Type-0 over the holidays and have completed Gears of War Ultimate Edition single player on Hardcore the other night, just started again on Insane last night. I have Forza 6 and FIFA 16 on order this month. Should keep me busy until Christmas.

Something I realized whilst watching Shigeru Miyamoto's interview about how level 1-1 was designed and naturally guides the player to find the game's simple mechanics for themselves but doesn't tell the player the controls, they need to read the manual for that! If Mario was made in modern days, there would be messages saying Press A to Jump, Hold B to run, etc with no need to refer to the manual to initially find the controls.

Man I remember getting so frustrated when first playing Final Fantasy 7 because I didn't know to hold X to run, I was just strolling around at a snails pace. RTFM!

sted Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 bought and completed (well did every level not got all the achievements) party hard on steam (first time iirc ive actually played a "game" on my 3+ year old gaming laptop lol) good fun if infuriating at times esp the achievements
Garacesh Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 (edited) Deadpool was half off over the weekend, so I picked it up. Having a lot of fun with this. It's just balls-out silly hacky-slashy-shooty fun. Definitely would recommend if you like that kind of game but want a refreshing change from most games "dis is super srs bizns" feel Closest other game I can think of it to be like (in terms of gameplay) would be Too Human, but this time it's actually fun. I reckon the gameplay is probably similar to the Arkham series but I haven't played any of them (despite owning most of them on steam O.o I should probably get around to actually playing them..)
