DanTheLacky Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Thought I would try some of the games I downloaded over ps+ last night, ended up playing knack as I just died over and over on bloodborne and darkrain I was a bit like wtf [emoji23]
ICTDirect_Dave Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Picked up The Elder Scrolls Online (Summerset edition) over the weekend for a paltry £12.34 off of CDkeys. Turned out to be a preorder edition so I got lots of lovely bonuses at the start. Having never played it before (i tend to shy away from an MMO) I was suitably impressed to find out that it's essentially just another TES game except there are more random heroes running around. Lots of fun! And seriously HUGE! 85GB!!!!
DalekSec Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 I now have Corsair RGB Mouse,Mouse Mat, Headphones and Keyboard! I just need the headset stand now

Garacesh Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Overcooked 2 is definitely on my 'to buy' list, just haven't decided if I'm going for Steam or Switch yet.
Ksavage413 Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 (edited) Destiny 2's newest expansion Forsaken drops out tonight. So hyped for that. Time to take the Reef by storm > Edited September 4, 2018 by Ksavage413
sted Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 after over 500 hours and 2 save files (i had to create a new profile on my switch because the game only allows one save) i finally got Kos-Mos. the file shes on is missing 2 pre dlc drivers and i havnt completed the main story yet never mind started new game + (where another raft of blades become available) but i got her finally and to add insult to injury from an unboosted common crystal now to finish off the odds and ends i need to and finish the game again this time on bringer of chaos mode (hard) which has taken me longer than completing the game 1st time and new game plus combined lol though granted i wasnt rushing but hard mode is hard and i suspect you arnt meant to use it on a new file just on a new game + file.
Arreks Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Have mainly played eve in the last year, reinstalled Stellaris recently too. Most recently when I've had the free time I've played VR games with a buddy, IronWolf VR is awesome!
Garacesh Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Have mainly played eve in the last year So that's why we haven't heard from you!
Arreks Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 (edited) So that's why we haven't heard from you! Yeah more or less I was in the battles for X47L-Q recently-ish which was pretty cool though. Edited September 12, 2018 by Arreks
Bagpuss66 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion on the Switch... take my money
sted Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion on the Switch... take my money and more final fantasies than you can shake a stick at (but after i hated 15 so much im burned out on that series and they are going to have to do something major to get me back in and re-releasing games i have on steam isnt it) yey torna the golden country is out today so looks like thats my weekend planned it downloaded this morning (and at least unlike some dlc its easy to see how to start it though i kind of wish it was its own icon on the home screen). interesting to see a non pokemon game from gamefreak but to me it almost smacks of a test for the engine that pokemon 2019 will be running more than an actual game some of the game in the capcom arcade classics may be fun for short bursts depends how cheap they are
Garacesh Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Should've posted it here.. oops! As of last night, A Hat in Time was on sale for <£14, and the new DLC for it is free for 24 hours. Not sure when that 24 hour period ends, but if you activate the DLC before the time's up you've got it permanently. I bought it, haven't tried it yet, but I've heard many good things.
korifugi Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 (edited) For lovers of point and click adventure games - Her Majesty's S.P.I.F.F.I.N.G. is down to £4 on PSN. bald_pig Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Are we going to see the rebirth of hamachi type services for people who want to play online without paying?
Garacesh Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Are we going to see the rebirth of hamachi type services for people who want to play online without paying? Would be cool, but I suspect that won't work. Hamachi-etc (iirc..) is pseudo-lan. All they need to do is make the games online MP only and you're buggered. No LAN/offline MP. And if you're doing online MP it'll have to authenticate against Nintendo's servers to ensure you're paying your racket like a good little stooge monthly subs.
