tech_guy Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 (edited) One stand was selling BBC sound effects cds for £2 instead of £19.99 - got some great sound effects to use now. Also got some of the BBC embossed oranges - they were very nice. Promethian were giving away usb sticks in the form of a wrist band. Got the F-Secure software too. And the Adobe Sim card reader. Loads of pens, rubbers, rulers, post-it notes, a stress lightbulb, and a flashing bouncy rubber ball. And a rucksack full of sweeties :-) Edited January 11, 2008 by tech_guy

StuartC Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Promethian were giving away usb sticks in the form of a wrist band. Lol, I couldn't go and have been waiting for someone to say what we were giving away. I had no idea, but these look quite funky. Has anyone got a spare one or am I going to have to raid our marketing department on Monday?
john Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I didn't get a Promethean USB stick despite going to the Promethean stand and talking about the new voting pads, I got a clear orange coloured pen and a bag, but a USB stick would have also been good

GrumbleDook Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Not a sausage - barely had time to get off stand all expo. Still, i did sup my way through 10 or 15 Smoothies. No time to get off the stand ... but plenty of time in the evenings to corrupt the minds of our staff with alcohol!
Diello Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 (edited) No time to get off the stand ... but plenty of time in the evenings to corrupt the minds of our staff with alcohol! That's implying our minds could be corrupted any more than they already are! We have Gavin "to blame" for that fun little jaunt. Hmm... Minnesota brunettes... (those there know what I mean... ZeroHour LOL) Edited January 14, 2008 by Diello

Diello Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Haha! I bet not... and probably wondering why the back of her top smelt of Carling! (if only one of us had a video camera at that moment!)
