I'm flying the noob Minmi distroyer right now with noob cannons :p so right now I haven't discovered a whole lot of tech lol.

I've just trained into the Stealth Bomber "Hound" on my minmatar character, it's bomb launcher uses ammo that is like 1.7 mil isk per shot xD

Oooh sounds fancy :D

I do like the idea of cloaked ships.. I think I'm going to be aiming for that :)

I used to love sitting in my Nemesis and bombing things. We used to do it kinda like bowling for fun in our wormhole - set up a wall of shuttles and see how many explode when you launch a single bomb at them. :D

Wormhole diving in a SB was lots of fun, I had to drop the bomb launcher for the probe launcher but you could still do a lot of damage when needed with it. And if you lost it then the cost was only about 30mil or so, not too big a hit on the wallet.

I think I'm going to train up for the Svipul and Confessor, mostly because they look very nice but I might even buy and fly one at some point.

Ahhh wormholes! They were fun! One of my stints I did exploration and kept wandering into them for practice. Didn't manke any money whatsoever, but zipping around in a Probe was fun and it looked cool. :)

Confessor is one of the most prettiest ships I have seen in Eve.

Plus its Turret mode looks very cool.

At the moment flying one doing Lv1 PvE (such a waste but I can't get into that NPC's Lv2 PvE)

Sisters of Eve chain used to be the usual next step, and I think where the tutorials pointed you towards. It's a chain of about 50 missions that take you through most empire space and give you a decent chunk of starting isk. Plus a nice standings boost at the end.

What's the tank and dps like on them? I'd be interested to see if they are good enough to fly in level 3s and possibly 4s (if their sig is small enough). I've done 3s in assault frigs before and it's not too bad as the speed plus dps makes it able to clear them at about the same speed as a Drake.

As of last night I finally completed the tutorials :D

What do now? lol

Whatever you want! The world universe is your oyster.

By the sounds of it, most of us have done PvP in the past but are relaxing and doing PvE.. but it's whatever you want to try, really! I've never done THAT much WH stuff so I might start doing that when I play again.

Touché.

Think I'll look into Sisters of Eve and keep an eye out for noob-friendly corps whilst I'm at it. I notice people are still advertising corps outside stations with those secure cargo container things lol.

The Recruitment channel and the Corp Finder tool are both pretty useful to find a new corp, I'd probably favour the latter more than the former though.

And if someone from goonswarm tells you there is a security deposit to join run away!

Is eve university still going? that was all about taking in new players and teaching them the ropes back in the day. They were always a good bunch and we used to appreciate them bringing a patchwork gang into null sec, fish in barrels. Best way to learn though!

If you want to get plenty of PVP action, faction warfare might be a good bet, and is red V blue still a thing? they were constantly wardec'ed and was good fun for alts.

Eve Uni were still going last I checked, they have some really good resources for anyone new to the game. RvB are lots of fun for derping around in cruiser or smaller to get a good idea of PVP, I used to join sometimes with a dozen or two frigates and see what I could do with them before they all died.

Haha, I know of goonswarm, and I also know never to pay to enter a corp :)

Or the ones with insane tax rates.. have you met up with any edugeek capsuleers yet?

Nope, and last night I was the only one on your TS :( Boooo

Heh I did notice that, I popped in briefly to see who was on but didn't have much time :p by the time I start playing again I'm sure there'll be a few edugeeks on there!

Still half a noob over here..

Avg. Sec.: 2.0 - isn't the highest sec 0.9 (or is there a 1.0?) how can you be in 2.0 space?

7 Day Delta: -12 - wussat?

And what unsavoury things do you speak of? :p

Wasn't on EVE last night, was playing PAYDAY 2, but I'll be on tonight.

sec = security status, average in corp is 2.0 this can go to 5.0 and as low as -10 it only affects that player, if it goes under -2 you can't enter 1.0 systems without the local navy chasing you.

the delta is likely players in/out we just purged some inactive players so -12 sounds right.

What things? :3 : https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?hl=en#q=eve+online+bat+country+scam&hl=en-GB&start=

theres usually never a week goes by when there isn't a reddit thread about someone getting scammed by us heh..

Oh, you naughty boy, you! :p

i dont do it, I've tried in the past and feel bad doing it.. however i don't stop our members from doing it as its their game to enjoy and as long as its within the rules of the game v0v

i thin the best one in corp so far was a guy convincing someone with 250b in production assets (T2BPOS/CAP BPOS/etc) to join the corp and produce all our supercaps - But first my director wants to see the blueprints so he knows you arent lying, contract them to so he can confirm they are not just copies and he did so...
