I kept having to organise my assets a lot, I've spent a lot of isk on Red Frog couriers just getting everything back to a central location, usually Jita, when I couldn't be bothered moving the Orca around myself.

Lots of my stuff will be in null-sec stations, used to hop around the galaxy a lot with PL so have ships everywhere.

Fire sale all the things!

Ship me all the things! =D

Funny thing, actually, semi-related.. One of the missions is to build them a ship, a Burst, I think.. I just repackaged the one I'd been given during my noob missions and shipped it back to them :p

I think a few of the advanced military missions involve being given a ship and having to go out and lose it in the mission. If you insure the ship you get the payout when the ship dies and it's extra money on top of the reward.

Yup, I've got a bunch of crows and BCs scattered.. mainly around Catch!

But I do hardly any PVP anymore so I might just get it all hauled or sold.

Ha. Nice. I'll keep that one in mind :D

I insured my ship when it reminded me, and then 2 missions later was given an upgrade lol.

Question.. Clones. How do I get one? I do remember having to purchase clones (and was there something about not getting any skills you trained after you bought it?) but can't recall how.

You don't really have clones anymore (besides jump ones) and they're used to jump between stations. There's no real penalty on skills for dying anymore.

Used to be at a station with a medical facility, The different levels of clones insured up to X amount of skill points, so make sure the clone you get more than covers your skillpoints.

Edit : Oh wow they got rid of them? Wonder how much more has changed since i played!

Medical Clones have changed. No need to upgrade them now.

JumpClones need standings with NPC corps to get in HighSec, or standings with sov holders in null and the infomorph psychology skill

THEY REMOVED CLONES!

Oh, really..? That's a shame. I actually liked the clone mechanic. It was a very nice middle-point between penalty-free death* and hardcore-style permadeath. Real shame they got rid of that..

* Ignoring the loss of your ship, modules and cargo.

C'mon then, @Arreks - let's be 'avin' that Teamspeak IP, yeah? :D

Edit: Found my old Corp.. Quam Singulari.. Last viewable activity was 2014.09.01 where they made an alliance. With only 156 members, though, I doubt it's very active anymore.

Discovered I'm a bit poorer than expected as I appear to have sold my Tengu at some point. Luckily I may have enough random crap (14 Geckos and some Gnosis) to be able to afford another one or some other solid mission ship to get me set up again.

Do people want a dedicated Edugeek corp or should we just find some other corp and run around with them?

There ain't anywhere near enough of us to start our own corp lol. Well, I guess there is, but we wouldn't really be able to do much. Probably best to join one of the noob-friendly corps, maybe?

Okay...

Went back to do a bit of manufacturing just to check that I had my figures correct and make some ISK'ies.

What I said last time.

1 day for mining.

4 days for the items to be manufactured (I usually manufacture ammo as that always sells)

2 days for the items to be bought up on the market.

Scratch 4 days for the manufacturing process to finish.

Its going to take 30 days to do a full manufacturing run of Anti-matter charges. :(

On the plus side the manufacturing UI looks a lot more pretty.

I started up a corp with about 10 people, and that's now grown into an alliance with a few corps and 250 people. So, anything is possible!

You could start a corp, and then find an alliance to join?

Best get started then, no? :D

Yeah.

Was going to buy all the materials but that would cost to much so I decided to mine it all.

Was going to make a start but then a friend distracted me with a game of Civ5.

Maybe.. Or we could just mooch in with your corp? :D lol

That's what two monitors are for, Civ5 on one and Eve on the other. Occasionally move over to the eve window to select a new set of asteroids to mine and press the F1 - Fwhatever keys to start mining them, go back to Civ for a while.

Lol, I'm not a member of it any more. The alliance ended up going in a direction I didn't want, so I handed over control and left.

Rats. Well, who's the most experienced member here that is still active? I'd start the corp myself but I don't have the (presumed) funds, nor would it look good a noob starting his own corp :p

Thats how I lost a Covetor the last time :(

I mine in 0.5 space so Concord are too slow to respond before I go boom.

I can make a corp, got the skills for at least a few members. I'll sort it out when I get in tonight and post the name here for people to apply.
