Drunk @Disaster ? Not one jot - just very happy to be at work on this beautiful spring morning :-)

Make mine a Kopi Luwak and I'd like a ginger nut to go with it please. (Can't stand hobnobs.)

"Kopi luwak, or civet coffee, refers to the seeds of coffee berries" Huh, okay, I don't like Coffee much but I've not heard of 'coffee berries'..

"once they have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet." NOPENOPENOPENOPE

After this week, I'll have mine with Baileys in please.

Go easy on the coffee, though.

Didn't fill the kettle up, you say? Oh well. I'll just have the Bailey's then, thanks.

Oh look, Netflix have emailed to say House of Cards S3 is on now... I'm, er, just taking my Bailey's to go and, um, perform some preventative server maintenance on my own. In the server room. With my headphones. Don't disturb me, it's very sensitive work.

I think that is a good idea. Very important stuff to do - we have a RAM emergency - must not be disturbed!

What is House of Cards like? Never watched it!

Bloomin' fantastic - Kevin Spacey is magnetic. Such an utter bar-steward, but so compelling and charismatic at the same time. I reckon you could get through all three seasons in a trial month of Netflix, it'd only take an episode a night to manage and would be well worth the effort.

Of course, then you'd have to keep Netflix for Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul...

From the few episodes I watched a while ago (and will get back to) he's one of those actors who does reasonably well in films but can take a role to a new level when given the extra time that a series provides. I'd really like to see more film actors make that step to series acting (assuming the role/series is fitting for them anyway).

I am a long time Netflix subscriber, but our viewing habits may be different as they've just emailed me to tell me a film I might like has just been added. The film you ask? The Emporer's New Groove.

I am very excited as I love this film!! Will give House of Cards a look in. What's the story?

My recommendations are all kinds of messed up from kids films (when we can't be bothered to switch to the kids profile because goddammit if Cars isn't on RIGHT NOW someone is going to explode) and from my teenage daughter's Roku (which can't switch profiles).

House of Cards: Kevin Spacey gets promised that if his party wins the election, he'll get Secretary of State, but when they get in the new President goes back on his word and says he needs him where he is. Mr Spacey goes right, stuff you all then, no more playing by the rules, I will make my own way to power. The following two seasons are a dictionary definition of "ruthless"; I presume the third will see some hens coming home to roost, to much dramatic payoff.

One of my favourite shows ever. It's just done so well. Everything about it is polished and crafted and beautiful and dark.

I'll take a caffeine-free irish coffee please.

Can I have one of those without the cream and sugar!

I'll take one of those without the cream, sugar, coffee, water...

Hang on, that'll just be a whisky then!

I haven't seen the American version, but the British version from the early 90's is amazing, absolutely brilliant and I can definitely imagine Kevin Spacey being brilliant in the role.
