    For a similar issue I used the VB in the following thread to create the parameters file containing the date I was interested in.     use a live disc to boot the system, mount the discs the run a command to reset the root password or modify the password file. microHOWTO: Reset a forgotten root password using a live distribution

    seqeunce I did was:- run the output with the paramdefs option to get the id of the effective date parameter then run command reporter with the effective date parameter in an xml file. the xml file is updated daily by a vb script and fed into command reporter. I can PM you some files if you want them.

    I've never had a problem with a crucial drive so don't know what they are like with the warranty. I've heard they were pretty good though.

    I always use crucial drives. I have an 64GB M4, a 240GB MX100 and a 240GB BX100 in various laptops and a PC.

    Have you given the new vlan an ip address as the clients will need this as their gateway to talk to the rest of the network.

    I have had periods where mine has been slow but the latest updates have been fine. I cannot comment on the latest hardware as I have 2 going on 3 year old one from BT. Have not had any issues with it recently.

    I would recommend looking at a Youview box. Anything you have recorded or that has been shown in the last week, on a channel that has a catchup service, is accessed directly from the guide. The search facility is good. Programmes recorded over a week ago can be easily accessed from the menu. you can also access Netflix and now tv.

    Is not quiet but we did buy the cheapest of cheap cases with a PSU. The PSU fan was noisy and the case was flimsy so seemed to cause a bit more noise that if you had a decent case and PSU.

    you are best giving them an active directory task pad to the specific ou that you want them to access and delegated permissions.

    The proxy settings info in and the GPO side are completely independent.

    Don't rule out charity shops I have had some good furniture from my local ones. Especially Age UK who have furniture warehouses dotted around.
