We currently use Meraki for our wireless network which does work very well, however due to cost we are trying to evaluate UNIFI. Currently we use Microsoft NPS to authenticate BYOD users using radius. Meraki then puts all the clients in a private 10.0.0.0 range. The SSID is using a splash screen that interrogates Radius. With our own assets we create an AD object with username as the Mac Address and the password as the Mac Address these are then able to connect to an open SSID without requiring any credentials. This uses an SSID that has MAC-based access control. How can we achieve something similar in UNIFI with ensuring our BYOD devices bar internet access are not able to do anything else and our own assets have full access without having to populate any credentials. Any guidance or advice would be very much appreciated

Hello all, has anyone come accross this issue, the scanners either don't work or work erratically. Has anyone been able to get these to work correctly. Were banging our head against the wall if anyone has any suggestions they would be very much appreciated.

One of our Domain Controllers which is a VM is in a reboot loop and each time it errors with: Windows Server 2012 0xc00002e2 Error I've tried to follow a few blogs with suggestions on with no sucess, anyone have any ideas? I do have a snapshot backup from about a week ago, but not sure if restoring a backup of a DC is a good idea or could it lead to bigger problems and would I be better of just creating a new DC and then forcefully demoting this one??

How do you find their payroll software, just out of interest what do you use for HR.

was it expensive, as i've heard its supposed to be.

How soon are you expecting to set it up as we are still decided on what to use, if you get it setup anytime soon let me know of your experience with it.

We currently use quite a dated version of SelectHR and we are thinking of replacing it Sage 50 HR looks very good from a price point of view, does anyone use it?? Can anyone recommend what HR software they use, ideally something that doesn't cost the earth. Thanks. Majahid

oh ok so far they seem to behave fine without being signed in, I'll have to test it more thoroughly to be sure.

no we didnt i'm going to just disable the autostart adobe cc application service and updater service, you cant see it causing any issues with the software not signed in??

Need a bit of advice, i'm currently building the image for the for the new academic year and we have installed the latest version of Creative Cloud and asks me to sign in, should we sign in with our enterprise ID on the build so that is replicated to all machines or not bother?? Would appreciate some advice, for anyone who has already been through this.
