ICTDirect_Dave Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 from £494. Minimum space you can purchase is 3 sqm, then there's the electricity (another £500 or so), internet, another £300, insurance, couple of hundred more, carpet £40 (they don't let you have none), plus six weeks worth of damned paperwork! If you have two and a half grand spare then go ahead! I'd love a little pony cave where i can hide and play mario kart on my breaks!

Purely because of the pony comment.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Yeah... I could do it. Also, no Daves allowed. Purely because of the pony comment. That's okay, I registered as a visitor under a different name so i can go snooping
GrumbleDook Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 World's largest ICT show will attract all kinds of riff-raff, even from the colonies. Plus I think I'll drop off those coffee flavoured chocolates again if I remember, they seemed to go over brilliantly. You are the distributor of CCCBs? You evil person ... for a chocolate lover / coffee hater such as I it is a terrible trick!
GrumbleDook Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I'll be there all week with LP+, hoping to catch up with a lot of folk on eSafety too. I've already started practising putting on my own faceprint for Friday, in case my regular conspirator is not available. 2
witch Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I do hope I will get to meet more of you this time even though I don't think I will make it for lunch on Friday. But I will be around in the afternoon and all day Saturday
john Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 You spelt Maet wrong There's also a brilliant Thai place around there that we went to last year. Far too many options I went back the other week, left after getting inside as they were rude and menu was very unavailable yet no indication of this on it There's a German themed restaurant nearby under one of the railway bridges that looks of interest. Also a good pub opposite showing football and a paddle full of meat. Bavarian Beer Haus is the place your on about, @Ric_ has been a few times its a nice spot if you enjoy German TV. I atteneded a Eurovision party in it this year was a good night and well organised by a friend that did it the outfits are good and small beers! 2
CAM Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 @john Sounds like the one! Almost went to it but it was the one day they had the TV off and we wanted to watch El Classico.
rickjames Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Conditionally down to attend the Friday, will pop by and say hello/pizza/etc. Wish I'd kept that ICT hi-vis from my old job.
scotyboy56 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) Just thought I would let you know as I am currently looking at hotels, Ibis Styles London Leyton is £40 per night for 1 and 2 person double bed and a twin room for 2 people. It is a 8 miles away from Excel London but it is nice and cheap. Also free unlimited Wifi and breakfast Would be grateful if anyone knows of any cheaper/better hotels nearer Sorry should have added, this was through late rooms, when you actually choose the hotel it gives you the cheaper price so even though it looks expensive to begin with it cuts it down when you select it Edited January 7, 2015 by scotyboy56
SchoolsBroadband Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 You are the distributor of CCCBs? You evil person ... for a chocolate lover / coffee hater such as I it is a terrible trick! You should come and see us Tony. We have free coffee and chocolate for all on our stand 1
