Garacesh Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 (edited) I have just E-Mailed the Christmas Quiz for this year to those staff that want it. Here it is for Edugeekers: I think there might be some (partial) repitition in some of the questions when compared with previous years (compiled in a hurry) I will post the answers when I send them out to our staff, on the last day of term. Is number 6 close enough for me to sue? A cursory glance gets me: 2: Green Mile 8: Forty Winks 11: Nowhere To Run 12: Wide Awake 14: Missing Link 15: Nudist Colony 23: Blanket 28: Hole In The Heart 30: Anyone For Tennis 33: Made In Reverse (?) 39: Fill In The Gap 47: Half A Crown 48: In The Way And I have no clue about London Edited December 1, 2018 by Garacesh 1
6Foot2 Posted December 2, 2018 Author Posted December 2, 2018 (edited) @Garacesh: 2: Correct 8: Correct 11: Correct 12: Correct 14: Correct 15: Correct 23: Correct 28: Not what I have, but could be an alternative answer, I guess? 30: Correct 33: Incorrect. 39: You have 'the singular' form. The answer is in the plural, but you are right. 47: Correct 48: Not quite. The 'London' clues work differently. Perhaps think of the images as prompts for syllables in the solutions.
