I call BS. Are Babylon 5 viewers really so different to Firefly viewers? (male, 40-59, C2DE, uber-Right wing). What if you're a fan of both shows, like me? Looks like Star Trek viewers are the same only they've traded their BNP memberships for UKIP. Mmmm.

Also, yeah, I would agree that they're generally older than Firefly viewers too. Dunno, everyone I know who watched that show is a decade older than I am.

 

Sample size for Babylon 5 is about 30% lower though mind. So, more room for error.

Put it this way, for a population of 63 million people, you need only 384 people with a confidence level of 95%, and a +/-5% margin of error/confidence interval.

 

To increase that to 99% confidence with a +/-5% confidence interval, you'd need a few more people at 666.

I would agree if the sample was evenly distributed throughout all areas of the country and all age groups. But as it stands these statistics are not gathered in that way. You have to sign up yourself and then they send you surveys for you to fill in. So unless you go out of your way to contribute you aren't considered. So this is the demographics based upon those people who actively participate in surveys, not demographics based on the entire population of the UK. Two completely different samples, which do not necessarily have any similarities and cannot be said to be representative of the entire population.

Not the same one I'm in right now either. Says far left, even though UKIP and labour were the big competition in the last election. Also with the loaded, I don't know a single person who doesn't live in the nicest areas of Penn that fits that.

 

And I suspect the profession Entertainment being so high and some other professions I don't see much there are from students studying those things. And lower/working class being very low?

Edit: One Direction would also be one of the top artists too I'd have though since one of them is from here.
