There's a field I drive past which has had a load of deer in it every morning for the last few weeks. Unfortunately, I can't stop on that section of road and get the long lens out. mikeprice Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Lots of great images I really should work out a safe way to carry my cameras on my bike poor thing has bounced across a road a few times so I'm not risking it anymore also - putting in a bag attached to the bike results in a lot of bumpyness - also not ideal I must ask for a solution on a cycle forum!

I use a small cycle rucksack - I carry a puncture repair kit, snack bars, plasters(!) and room to carry the waterproofs for when the weather makes a sudden improvement. Oh, and the phone and wallet for those oh so important cafe stops!

If you google image search this term you'll see a solution that might match your setup. attach a camera bag to a cycle I use a small single bag strapped to the front bars, 1 lens and the DSLR.

I have a Panasonic TZ10 as a "pocket camera" - it is fine, flexible, nice pics, but... it sucks dust in, and there's now a mottled effect on the back of the front lens. I've got the dust out for the second time, and had a go at cleaning the lens - whatever it is (and it might be the coating failing) but it doesn't come off. I don't think the mottling is affecting images too much, but very difficult to tell. What would you replace it with (NOT a phone, MrsC will want to use it too)? I wouldn't mind spending a £few hundred. The GPS facility is good, I'd like to retain that. I'd go for another TZ, but they seem as rare as hen's teeth at the moment.

His last few cameras have been chosen by deciding his budget then buying the best Lumix he can for that price (or rather, getting the next model up from his pre-set budget limit!).
