JATSO Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 (edited) In Durham yesterday with my S7 for the Brass Festival. Stopped to watch these guys perform 7 Nation Army, brilliant. One from my garden and the other of Durham Castle. Edited July 17, 2017 by JATSO
enjay Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Took this in my back garden. Not exactly high quality, I was just pleased I got it in frame!! That's so cool. Where do you live with so little light pollution in the sky, too?!
Jawloms Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 That's so cool. Where do you live with so little light pollution in the sky, too?! The depths of Suffolk...... I am quite fortunate with my street lights. The nearest one to my back garden is probably 100m away, and they are LED ones which point down.
arwen Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 A couple from yesterdays bike ride around the Cairngorms. 3
korifugi Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 (edited) Not necessarily high quality photos - but taken from my phone as I was traipsing around the Classic Motorcycle Festival at Donington. Edited August 7, 2017 by korifugi 1
pete Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Some more from South Africa. Baby Honeycomb Moray in a rock pool, beach sign, hanging with a green turtle and a lion coming towards us. 1
enjay Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 I love the road sign. It reminds me of this one in the Lake District, only scarier
SamanthaD Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 An unusual way of doing a panorama - but like the effect it gave! Done on my S7 Edge - sorry for rubbish size and compression.... 2
hardtailstar Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Went down to Folkestone last night. Here are a few I took on my camera. Some of them are not the best of shots but I like them. Edit: not sure why the arches are sideways. it shows up the right way in my photos! 1
SamanthaD Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 I quite like the arches sideways, makes it less obvious as to what they are initially.
Fazza Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Here's a photograph of a Lorry that I was driving around one of our outdoor communal areas the other day before the silly rain came along:
Kingstech Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Took this photo at the British Fireworks Championship in Plymouth on Thursday night. I was lucky to be able to go up on Smeaton's Tower and watch them.
mavhc Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Photos/Videos are sideways because they're stored sideways, and have a rotation parameter that the decoder has to use when displaying, there's https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/image-orientation#Browser_compatibility but as you see it's only in firefox so far. So the website or you have to normalise the image first.
