Net-Ctrl Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Over the Summer Net-Ctrl achieved the top partner status with Ruckus Wireless, we’re now classed as an ‘Alpha Dog’ partner. This is a level that only a few companies in the UK have achieved. To be classed as an ‘Alpha Dog’ we were required to complete various sales and technical exams, and demonstrate our competence with the Ruckus solution and knowledge of the wireless environment. What this means to you is that we should be able to offer a better price than other non-alpha dog partners, and it should also provide you with the security in knowing that you’re dealing with a trusted Ruckus reseller. We wanted to celebrate our new status with you all, by running a series of activities where you could win one of three highly elusive large Ruckus dogs. How will it work? Every Monday for the next three weeks we will launch a new activity that will test your eyes, mind and memory. You will have until the following Friday at 10.30 to send in your answers and enter. Every EduGeek member is only allowed one entry into each weekly activity. All correct entries will be put into a hat and we will choose a winner at random. The new owner of the Ruckus dog will be announced during Friday afternoon. How can I enter? To be entered into the draw all you need to do is send your answer(s) for the weekly activity on a PM to this account and then comment on the thread to let me know you have done so. (This will help me cross-reference everyone’s entries, to ensure I haven’t missed anyone out.) This is exclusively for EduGeek and open to everyone with an account that is UK based (Ruckus dogs are afraid of flying, anyone not in the UK, if you have a UK address you can still enter) Phew..I think that covers everything...any clarifications needed, or anything i have missed, please let me know Activity 1 Causing a Ruckus in the Park! The ruckus dogs have escaped the confines of Ruckus HQ and made their way down to the local park. Count how many dogs have managed to escape: PM me your answer before Friday 12th September at 10.30, and comment on the thread to let me know you’ve sent your answer. Good Luck! TheScarfedOne Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Who let the dogs out, who, who, who, who... 1
Net-Ctrl Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 Early signs suggest the culprit of 'who let the dogs out' was this this man.... To those of you that haven't had the pleasure of meeting him, this is Mark Power one of our education sales managers and expert spoon balancer 2
Net-Ctrl Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 Thanks for all the entries so far, i can confirm everyone above has been added to the spreadsheet 1
Net-Ctrl Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 This weeks prize is ready and waiting to meet its new owner For your chance to win, count the number of dogs on the original image and send me a PM with your answer and comment on this thread
Net-Ctrl Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 Just over 24 hrs to get your answer in to win one of our large Ruckus dogs. All you have to do is count the Ruckus dogs in the picture and send me your answer
Net-Ctrl Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 Thank you everyone for your entries so far. There is just under 1.5hrs to get your entries in to win a Ruckus dog. If you're not picked out today as the winner, we will be having a wireless quiz next week for a second chance to win
Net-Ctrl Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 That's it, no more entries for activity 1 We will be announcing the correct answer and winner later on today. Thank you to everyone who entered! Next week i have a short WiFi quiz for you all to test your wireless knowledge and know-how, and for another chance to win a Ruckus dog. 1
Net-Ctrl Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 Thank you to everyone that entered our ‘Ruckus in the park’ competition. There were 49 dogs that have all been safely found and rescued from the park and returned home to Ruckus HQ. We had a number of entrants with the correct answer. I had asked Mark Power to draw the winner, and he insisted on being filmed. So, without any further delay, please watch Mr Power draw the winner… Mark is currently sitting downstairs waiting for his Oscar nomination We will be running some more activities over the next two weeks for your chance to take home your own Ruckus dog. We’re doing these give-aways as a thank you to the EduGeek community and to celebrate our new top tier partner status with Ruckus. Anyway, congratulations @DBi – please PM me your preferred shipping address and I’ll get your new pet in the post. I have been working on some commands, and you will be happy to know he has mastered ‘Stay’, still working on the others. 4
