Little-Miss Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I don't have my own desk anymore. As we rotate across sites we just grab the machine that's free that month. Feels a bit odd... BUT i do have two monitors thankfully....i would've kicked off about that. Although my colleague has 3.....hmmmm.

unixman_again Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 the second monitor, which is only ever used if I'm editing a really wide image, so is off 99% of the time the Mac is asleep as we have no students using the Mac suites the trackball on the left, even though I'm not sinister the banana is ready to eat today; the best place I've found to ripen bananas is on the PC

It's fantastic for having emails on, I used to have a third screen in portrait but lack of space on new desk meant it had to go
Sephiroth Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 If you think about it, what do you actually do with your computer? almost everything that you do, with the exception of spreadsheets and media, is portrait. Even some spreadsheets are portrait. When I can get my hands on some more money, I plan on having a second one like the portrait and have 4 x 17" in a square, flanked by 2 x 23" widescreen portrait screens. Sadly though I can't take credit, thanks to @Irazmus for that one!

Typists would be familiar with what it did. We still haven't caught up. I see you have two mugs on your desk. Is one cooling while you slurp from the other? I must try that - maybe I won't as I'm down to 5 coffees a day now.
