Received my tablet this morning, thanks for not putting it in the microwave.

 

Oh by the way, I defused the explosives.

 

And I contained the anthrax spores.

 

And the fish-hooks dipped in curare............well, what can I say? Cute. Very Borgia-esque.

 

It's a shame that for us , The World Cup is over, but every dark cloud and all that.

Yeah I suppose so... Think I've been in denial about us being out so early!

Just for a little bit of end of the World (Cup) fun we've decided to offer a packet of biscuits to whoever correctly guesses the score of the Argentina v Germany final on Sunday. Any predictions in a PM please! :)

I will certainly be willing to take the biscuit preferences of the winner into account! I'm sure I could get some bourbons in. :)

Could you also please make it VERY clear when you email me your score predictions in terms of which team gets which score. I am football literate/not a numpty, just making sure that my behind is covered and there can be no situations as follows:

 

"I said 7-1 and I was right!"

"Yes but you (stupidly) said 7-1 England not 7-1 Brazil."

"I didn't specify actually!"

 

So if you could pretend you're talking to an idiot, that would be fantastic!

Just read your post on page 1 of this thread... 7-1 Brazil...

 

Is there something suspicious going on here...?

It depends. I'm not entirely sold on this whole idea of 'biscuits', yet.. All this phooey spiritualist nonsense.. The burden of proof is yours! You need to prove you actually have biscuits!

 

... What kind of biscuits are we talking? :p
