laserblazer Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Sorry, I can't allow Marmite in, what would I put on my toast for breakfast. When I was a student, I had a Pancho Villa moustache and Marmite on toast would last me all day.
davyboi Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 1. People who think the national speed limit is 35 mph and dont see the massive que behind them, when im late for work. 2. all the tax drivers have to pay, on fuel etc( cant really complain about car tax as mine is only £35 a year on my new car ) 3. immagrants that come over and do nothing for this country, then complain about every thing and try to get stuff changed to suit them! (for example making people take down images of jesus and st georges cross because its offends them.) making out if they stay in there own coutry they will get persicuted for their belives, hows that my problem! 4. chavvy little b@st@rds 5. people who cant take a joke and take every thing seriously and get offended by the smallest things and just live to complain! ps i can see number 5 kicking in now because of what i put in number 3 but meh
rhyds Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 - Anyone who doesn't know how to indicate properly on roundabouts - The sound of slipping engine drivebelts when the first real cold snap turns up (Get them changed you fool!) - People who drive at speeds incompatible with the road conditions (either very slowly as if they'd never seen a bend before or so fast you wonder if their self-preservation brain centre if malfunctioning) - People who force their opinions on others without trying for a concensus (sp) - People who profess to "know about cars" (i.e. they can tell you why the BMW XYZ is faster than the Audi ABC, but ask them why their car is still refusing to start when it's wet and they're stumped)
Guest Guest Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 My alternator - damb things deaded Whoever decided to put the alternator between the driveshaft, engine and exhaust making is near impossible to get at, nevermind remove! Wasps Anti-smokers 5day working week - 4on, 3off i say

chrbb Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Can I change one of mine? ironing done it now so not on list 'til next week replace with - Asian call centre callers who insist their name is James or Robert when it's quite plainly not! (Son took a call last week from one who introduced himself as Richard, line went very quiet when my son asked if he could call him Dick.)
gwendes Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 It's paradoxes (I think). Paradox's would be something belonging to the paradox... 1. Lazy humans 2. Aggressive, angry people that think they have the right to treat others badly 3. Disgusting, smelly, sticky things (fluids etc) 4. Religon - only the one TRUE god shall remain. Long live the Flying Spaghetti Monster 5. If the rules are the same as the TV series I'd go with Stephen Fry's answer to put room 101 in room 101 - therefore ending all things that are disliked or owning the room myself!
FN-GM Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Surely if you threw the key into room 101 then you would not be able to lock it? Unless you were inside - but you would have to put yourself on the list for that. And if you put yourself on the list then you would be saying that you have no worth, and in which case that would make your list worthless to, therefore invalid and not worth following through - so you would not be put into room 101, which means you would not be worthless - therefore.... The door has a letter box, i will post it through that
gwendes Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 The door has a letter box, i will post it through that What about bad things that can fit through letterboxes? Solution is flawed I fear...

Wasps Anti-smokers 5day working week - 4on, 3off i say The alternator in question isn't on a K-series Rover by any chance? I had to take an engine mount off to change mine.
Disease Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Why would you want to get rid of Apple and Linux? They are the only things providing any competition (and therefore providing a reason to innovate) to Microsoft... Hang on the words Pot Kettle Calling and Black spring to mind didn't you say you wanted to put in Microsoft, that would be destroying competition as well. 1. Tony Blair and all his labour twatheads. 2. Immigrants (all of them) 3. Dumb people with loads of kids. 4. Lazy People 5. Non Patriotic People
FN-GM Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 What about bad things that can fit through letterboxes? Solution is flawed I fear... Not if you screw a steel plate over the top of the letter box.
gwendes Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Not if you screw a steel plate over the top of the letter box. You concern me...
Jake Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Oooooh !!!!! this looks like fun !! 1. Religion - probably the cause of more trouble and strife than anything else in the history of the world 2. Immigrants - Not to be racist, but really we do need to put the brakes on things as they are currently getting out of hand and only going to get worse. We are a tiny enough island as it is. 3. Irresponsible parents - such as the baby factories who churn out kids in order to raise benefits rather than any thought of bringing a child into a loving environment and the responsibilities which come with that 4. Celebrity obsession - everything from teenagers growing up with nothing more than the aim of being on big brother, or becoming the next WAG, right through to the public and medias fascination with such things as what David Beckham had for breakfast last weekend 5. Political correctness - as some of you may have noticed...I am not a terribly PC person, nor will ever I be, really cant stand the softly softly nicey nicey approach that has encompassed modern times. Shame its only 5...I could have reached 10 I reckon !
gwendes Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 That reminds me - can I change one of mine to Daily Mail/Express readers?
maniac Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 What about bad things that can fit through letterboxes? Solution is flawed I fear... Not if you screw a steel plate over the top of the letter box. If you put the key to room 101 in room 101, then how would we get the door open to put more rubbish into room 101??

Hang on the words Pot Kettle Calling and Black spring to mind didn't you say you wanted to put in Microsoft, that would be destroying competition as well. Nope, getting rid of one monopolist is not the same as getting rid of the only 2 things that could possibly drive innovation within said monopolist.
webman Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 How about we do a Futurama Farnsworth Parabox, and put Room 101 into Room 101, just to see what happens?
FN-GM Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 What about bad things that can fit through letterboxes? Solution is flawed I fear... Well the key would be the last thing to go in then
Jake Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 More to the point...is Room 101 actually Room 5 ?
Disease Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Why would you want to get rid of Apple and Linux? Nope, getting rid of one monopolist is not the same as getting rid of the only 2 things that could possibly drive innovation within said monopolist. But you are picking which ones you consider to be the poorer party, who says that by putting Microsoft into the room you destroy innovation because the 2 smaller companies no longer have to fight big bad Microsoft. Now that they have 50% each of the market place instead of the 10% they had between them they they no longer feel the need to innovate so they just sit and stagnate. All three destinies are entwined together you see
m2d2 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 2. Immigrants (all of them) Cheers mate. What have I ever done to you? Guess there always has to be a scapegoat to blame for everything that goes wrong round 'ere
