I've just noticed, it's gone back from socktober to stocktober, does this mean we're changing formats? Foregoing socks?!? Is this the beginning of sockgate? I hope not!

That was very Eagle Eyed of you. I hadn't noticed that. I enjoyed both Stocktober and Socktober so I'm happy with either of them.

I want to take up painting landscapes but don't have the appropriate clothing to prevent me from getting paint on myself. Can we have Smocktober instead?

  • This year's name is correct. It is called STOCKtober again; we will be giving away surplus stock.
  • There are no socks involved this year.
  • There will be daily winners, but videos are only weekly this time.
  • It is still ALL ABOUT THE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!! *dons clown shoes*

We've had to adjust the format a bit because daily videos take up A LOT of my time and we have several other important marketing projects going on at the moment that mustn't suffer because I'm too busy shouting and dodging boxes.

 

That being said, there will still be fun to be had in the thread and the vids will be... unpredictable (as ever). Speak up if there is anything you want to see us get up to and we'll pick some out that we think we can get away with. Bonus prizes for suggestions that make it into the vids (awarded at my discretion of course).

 

Full details when we post the competition thread next week.

 

Ooooh - I just got the excitement shiver. It begins!

I don't think you're taking Stocktober as seriously as you should. :p

 

I'm just waiting to see what it's all about... you guys seem to be all nuts over it, and I've never experienced it before. ;)

 

Oh hohohoho... prepare yourself for "high quality" photoshops, dodgy subtitles and a joke that gets made early on that will last the entire month.

 

Also, probably a @Gonk song.
