andrew_91090 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Sorry if this has already been posted but I haven't seen anything, so thought I'd make my own Christmas 2013 has been and gone now, presents have been handed around and booze has been flowing smoothly So what did everyone get that they would like to have a little brag about?? Actual christmas presents were a t-shirt, some socks, a few smelly sets and some cash, which went straight into the bank to cover the hole the PS4 made

Plus the usual booze, chocs and general sillines It's been a good year!
Bromcom_John Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 A new Double oven, 4 ring Induction hob, a small set of decent induction cookware and a lovely new set of "razor" sharp knives from M&S. Which "might" beat the Kenwood chef... it all depends on "what" Kenwood chef you got. If it was one of the top end ones then you may still colour me green However the one thing that cannot be beat is the newly reborn domestic Goddess that has appeared in the home since we got the new oven. She was great before, but the wife's been baking fresh bread and cakes like they're going out of fashion. Bloomers, sandwich loaves, bread rolls, sour dough, fruit loaves... its like living in a branch of Greggs 1
mole Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 A Bitfenix Prodigy M case and Zalman CNPS9700 NT cpu cooler and external bluray drive. Had a productive new years eve transferring all the bits from my old fractal case into this much smaller one.
jedmondson Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Arduino starter kit, decent dremel, lots of games in the steam sale and i got myself a 2tb hdd as ive filled up the 1.5tb one.
rad Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Our kenwood has the blender, mincer, potato peeler (yep apparently it peals potatoes for you!) as well as the other bits and bobs. I too may have a new domestic goddess, she is off to break making school at the end of the month!
tech_guy Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 As well as the usual booze, socks, jumpers and chocolates, I got one of these....
elsiegee40 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 A kenwood chef....beat that cooks! I bought my Chef Excel twenty five years ago, complete with liquidiser, mincer and grater/slicer attachments, for £118 in the Sale in Bentalls in Chatham. It, and the attachments are still going strong... although I think I have only used the grater/slicer 3 times. My Mum got her Kenwood as a wedding present in 1960 and that is still going having been used at least weekly for its entire life as my Mum loves to bake. Your chef is an excellent investment @rad As for my Christmas presents , Mr gee40 bought me a lovely new bag 1

XiJ Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I got one of these :-) Most impressive! I got lots of lego - technic car, x wing and a replica drop ship. Considered the r2 / Death Star purchase but no idea where I'd put it!

Not a Xmas present as such - but when I was up visiting my folks my sister gave me her Kenwood Gourmet food processor which had been a wedding present in the early 80s - with all the blades and the ice cream maker attachment - she said she had on;y used it a couple of times - its a glorious "champagne" colour
