Hey, nice looking site!

Its got the VeryPC roominess feel to it.

 

I can finally show people where they can get a VeryPC computer like the new ones we have in school from. Laser etched cases are a winner - its all people want to know about when they see them in our school.

Just been speaking to our sales manager @VeryPC_Tom_B about this exact thing.

 

We've decided that EduGeek users WILL qualify for the education discount if currently working in education IT. All you need to do is tell us your EduGeek username and your contact details at the school/college etc that you work for and we'll sell you as an individual the computer you want at the edu discount price (which is pretty hefty btw).

 

Like the sound of that?

Hey @VeryPC are you really offering a 5 year warranty as standard on the broadleaves?

That's an amazing offering - even trumps the customer service kings, Richer Sounds, who charge you a small, reasonable fee for their 5 year Supercare.

Just out of interest are you going to bring out a Intel NUC based unit at some point?

 

Its the new market leader in energy efficiency.

 

I'm being forced to look at other suppliers like Tranquil PC at the moment but would rather stick with VeryPC as had good service in the past.

@VeryPC I cant get on it! keep getting 'Page cannot be displayed', seems like its blocked by our filtering as a quick google bought up the contacts page and it said it was blocked :(

The filtering im on doesn't block ecommerce as ive got special permissions :D

 

I'll send an email to our filtering company and see what they say.

  2. Tiles with at the top remind me of the whole Windows 8 thing. Simple and effective.
  3. Having the Education Discount notice in bright pink and white makes it really obvious. However, I would remove the grey bar just above it, adding the phone number to the pink box and moving the Search tool to the menu after 'Reviewed'.
  4. We also have an account with BT/Dabs that, when we log in, shows our discounted price. Possibility?

  2. It is based on an OpenCart template called 'MetroCart' that we have modified a bit. You can tell from the name of that template that it takes its inspiration from Windows 8.
  3. ^see point 2 above - as we are using OpenCart we do not want to meddle with the layout too much - we've done it this way because it works within the parameters we have without clawing apart the code.
  4. Currently being debated at VPCHQ... watch this space (maybe)
  5. I saw! I'm currently monitoring all webshop activity during the launch phase - I danced a little dance in my tummy when i saw your registration pop into my inbox.

Yep - one of the hallmarks of the Broadleaf brand is the 5 year warranty at no extra cost. It goes with the whole sustainable and high quality thing and is made possible because we build the chassis ourselves, so are not reliant on 3rd party parts that might become unavailable.

 

Broadleaf = 5 year warranty.

I looked at this theme a while a go, i regret not telling my mate to buy it - It looks awesome as a live product!

Yep it's good isn't it? We went with OpenCart and a template so we could concentrate on the content and not get bogged down in coding the ecommerce from scratch.

Can I just check that the Rhinobooks are not customisable? Clicking on Customise/Buy adds it straight to the cart with no options available.

Just noticed, if you remove optical drive, cost increases (even though it shows reduction)

EDIT - this is corrected now - was an error with the way that our data import handles negative values. Appreciate the eagle eyed spot @Willott

Indeed we are - I have the chassis in my hand now as I type (it's that small that I can type while holding it! - well, nearly). I'm just working on the branding.

 

It will be a silent, fanless, uber-tiny super energy efficient wee beastie and is not far away - watch this space in the new year.

Can I just check that the Rhinobooks are not customisable? Clicking on Customise/Buy adds it straight to the cart with no options available.

Currently they are fixed spec on the webshop, along with our workstations, but will become customisable before long.
