Here's a little riddle... ESS have certain solutions available on G-Cloud (Hosted service for SIMs being one of them). G-Cloud agreements do not have a minimum term, but do have a maximum term of 2yrs (plus extension periods). So ESS must be able to provide contracts shorter than 3yrs, otherwise they wouldn't be able to sign any G-Cloud contracts - and if that's the case, do CCS need to remove them fully from G-Cloud?

Strange, I'm on Solus 3.11.61.2 and been able to do the Discover 2017 Autumn upgrade (secondary, but I would have thought that shouldn't affect)

I'm using them here - 5700 series, and been very pleased with them so far. Core has been in for a couple of years, got a couple of other cabs with them in (rolling replacement of Cisco). Port number are the other way up from Cisco which made config take a little longer (mainly when I misreplaced values), but they seem very capable. Got various autodefend features turned on. UK team seem very good as well in terms of spec'ing what you need for the job you're looking to do.

You most likely want the DSR option - that's deploystudio and you should be able to reimage with your 2013 image, looks like no password was set on the EFI section when it was imaged to Sierra. Assuming this one is the client and not server El Capitan and above seem to only really play with profile manager setup client side, less and less of the workgroup manager bits work, just done most of our suite to El Capitan, and some of the things we could more readily do through workgroup manager have become a little more difficult... Hi all, Art of the Title (used by our media department) hosts videos on Vimeo like various other sites (and I didn't receive a response to a request for a list of video IDs). I've been able to scrape the Vimeo Video IDs from there (using some cobbled together powershell), and have added them to a separate vimeo allow group on our Smoothwall. For anyone interested, the player links are below, you'll also need the additional items in URL patterns (dig out the Smoothwall thread for further info). I am happy that these are videos only on pages within the artofthetitle site and tested that other vimeo videos are blocked, but I take no responsibility for the use of these links on your system. The powershell could probably be adapted for other sites as well, so I'll tidy it up, make it a little more configurable (ie what regex to use to find the video ID as a variable) and post it if it's of interest to others. artofthetitle.txt Cheers Will

If internal calls are fine, how are their external lines delivered? What's their WAN/internet connectivity like?

I'm assuming this is occuring on internal as well as external calls (basic question, but not mentioned in OP)?

@foofighterjim's method is the one I used @Jam_lane - you'll find that it's still possible for the little darlings to create groups - that's the method I originally had in place

Correct indeed - could have sworn I'd done something in the past with differing link speeds, but obviously not.

From my understanding, STP will disable 1 of the ports if both are plugged in (I think you should be able to set a priority on the 10Gb if it doesn't automatically prioritise that one), if one fails, STP should then rewrite it's tables and bring the other port up. The other option is if switches both ends are the same make, there may be something that will "team" (I think Cisco call it ethertrunk) the ports, so they'll both run as active and if one drops there would just be a reduction in bandwidth.

If you mean that mac addresses aren't listed in the left hand side under reservations, switch to address leases view and you should see the mac there and be able to see the device name to find it in reservations.

Experience of doing it both ways. Feasible doing it either way dependent on domain trusts etc being in place.

Yeah, pretty much - though I think I got 1 model up (bought my wife a mixer as well, so got 15% off... well, bought my wife a mixer and then added the soundbar on) Soundbars seem better suited to wall mounted TV - if you've on a TV table, you'd probably be better looking at a soundbase instead.

I grabbed a Samsung soundbar with subwoofer from tesco_outlet on ebay - "refurbished" (so most likely box opened and then returned) worth a look. I was sitting between the LG you linked and the similar spec samsung but found a slightly higher spec one through the outlet for about the same price as I'd been looking at new ones.

Had termination and mid run splice done for £300 on a 4 core OM3 back in Jan, we ran the fibre through and the company we used were happy to do and tested cable to give us complete length. I'd got a rough idea of length from pulling a draw rope the entire distance first so that we could ensure a smoothish path for the fibre when it was pulled. Can't say I used armoured though 300m reel of OM3 bought in and we'll be well sealing any underground sections to try to stop rodent abuse. To be fair, the 4 core OM1 or less that had been in place has been in use for goodness knows how long and the only damage to it appears to be where it has come up from the ground in the dining room with little to no protection around it (safe to say we've metal trunked the new one in)

The annoying this is I vaguely recognise it but can't think for the life of me what it is. Router maybe with serial connections?

We're starting to push our Cisco out in favour of Huawei. Great price point, and seem rock solid. Virtual stacking capable and the guys in the UK are good a putting together a sensible spec.

How did you earth the SWA? the steel part of the cable normally connects to an earth, so did you wire this through to the earth pin on the plug using a banjo? I think you'd also have to be careful with regards to RCD as any newish installations will have RCD at the board itself (and may even have RCBO), so RCD elsewhere may introduce other issues.

Ah yes, but the potential for pain/damage/cost/death if it's done incorrectly vastly outweighs the hoops!
