Wow, just looked at the cost of new circuit and full rewire building regs through local council - £220 for new circuit and £400 for full rewire. Certainly makes using a registered sparky for a new circuit as their cost will include certification.

I think that you can do work and get it certified by building regs (and depends on what the work is - new circuits and full rewires certainly, swapping a socket/light/switch I didn't think required certification), couldn't find any reference to this apart from 2005 Part P - if anyone has further info, then that would be useful (will make a difference if we get kitchen redone in a couple of years...)

Run the cable, get a sparky in to do the electrical side things (if you've little/no diy experience). You'll be best looking at SWA cable in ducting/a trench (or lay ducting with a draw string and allow sparky to do the pull). But speak to sparky about what cross sectional area cable to run (as your load/wiring requirements at the shed end will affect this).

Still works out a quantifiable load cheaper (because load is a quantity as far as I'm concerned)

Looks as though it will be VAT rate, but there may also be a handling cost by the courier, so I'd reckon about £30, but I'll see if I can dig out what our charge was (though ours may have included customs duty as well as it was well over the limit for that) Edit: £310 order, £70 EU VAT (and probably customs duty), £12 fedex advancement fee

fs.com I think is the same company, and yes, used them for some LRM optics (unforunately my fibre runs are too long/too old to support). Have just run new fibre and planning to buy some SR from them. Used them after a recommend on here. Obviously be prepared to add import taxes, but even with those, much cheaper

I've done it by contacting Apple - had to email them proof of ownership but they were then able to unlink the device from the icloud account allowing it be recovered

If you're willing to wait slightly away from there, there's a couple of pubs just up the A45 towards brum (watch out for the speed cameras), or you could head towards Solihull or Knowle for pubs to sit in. Some more info about the VoIP service would be useful - is it fully hosted, or do you have a local PBX? If local, do internal calls drop as well? What make/model phones (most of them will have ability to SIP log etc)

Popped to see them yesterday - spotted Senso on their back as I was walking past, otherwise wouldn't have seen them. Looks quite promising software wise, and good for controlling across multiple locations. Price point also seems to be good, certainly worth a look - and they're taking feedback on board - safeguarding (keyword logging etc) module is going straight into dev when they get back from BETT

Because the % Att and AEA is taken from the student record (so covers year to date) - the filter you are putting on affects only the data contained within the blue section, so if you were to add fields from within the blue section you'd see they were only over the date range selected.

Probably your cause (guessing you don't have routes in your router for the various vlans)? Packets will be routed from the vlans, to the servers, which will then reply sending packets to 10.4.192.150 which will most likely drop packets (or may route out to next hop dependent on router setup). Grab a test device, stick it's default gw to 10.4.192.252 and see if you can ping off vlans and from device to vlans Edit: other way to confirm this would be to traceroute from both sides

Do your devices on VLAN1 have 10.4.192.150 as their default gateway, or the switch?

Any better today? I was thinking about this last night. I was wondering if the noise was coming from the main pump (the red thing) - it could be air inside the system - the boiler, as has been mentioned, feeds a coil inside the tank which heats the water in the tank. This coil is in the same system as the heating, and I would have thought the electric valve on the floor is what controls if the heated water passes into the tank to heat the tank water. Bleed rads, check for pressure, and the black unit with the red knob at the very top is an auto air release valve, if this is working correctly, it should eliminate air in the system - however, it could also be blocked, or have been left in the service position, in which case it won't be bleeding air. It should have an indicator showing open - closed - this is whether it's in service position or not.

It looks like there's a further white tank to the left - possibly another expansion vessel - would be useful seeing that as well when you get a chance for a decent picture.

Do you have back slashes in your imagefile parameter? the full command should be: dism /apply-image /imagefile:e:\sources\install.wim /index:1 /Applydir:C: You may need to adjust your source path to ensure you're picking up the correct WIM (ie if you do "dir e:\sources\*.wim" do you get a list of files back)?
