I'm new to PowerApps, i've just started playing with it over the last couple of days. I've made an app from a SharePoint list. The idea of the app is to enable users to add items to the list, but with a more friendly user interface with fields spread across multiple screens. I've created the app, the screens and added everything to it. I'd now like to have one final submit button on the last screen which will send all the info captured from the previous screens to the SharePoint list (all added to the same record). I've been battling with the patch command to do this. This is what I have on my submit button, can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? My data source is called "Trip Request". My screens are called Trip details, Staff, Students, Costs, CostsContinued, Funding and Authorisation Thank you. Patch(Trip Request),Defaults(Trip Request),Trip Details.Updates,Staff.Updates,Students.Updates,Costs.Updates,CostsContinued.Updates,Funding.Updates,Authorisation.Updates);Navigate(Success, ScreenTransition.None)

Capita have emailed me some patches that need applying. I know I can use dbupgrade to do so once I have extracted them from zipped file etc. But if they were in solus I could schedule them for deployment after hours? But they are not in solus so how can I add them? Any help appreciated

I couldn't image new clients today and after fumbling for over an hour with everything from BIOS settings to switch packet sizes, it turns out it was a security update. The KB4489881 went in on the 14th (march 2019) and has now stopped my clients loading the boot installer. The client would get 10% into loading then claim that the resource was unavailable. I've uninstalled this update rollup and WDS works fine again. Server2012r2 Anything I should do?

Hello, I am frustrated that I have received this email from Advanced Learning a few minutes ago: http://ui.isend-itineris.co.uk/view.aspx?e=ef8e87349a9b479e8b810070d792cc1e&t=57749c99e9&r=6ef5d82b3b telling us that we will need to re-patch our Facility CMIS. We have identified this affects ~12 of our schools, which is not good providing the that Census day is tomorrow. I know that it doesn't need to be submitted tomorrow, but we are still very unhappy about this. For reference our SIMS schools were upgraded during the summer with no further issues. They just released the current version on 1st September. How do other vendors deal with this? Other than SIMS, have you had a smooth upgrade this time? I am curious to know if this is extended or if it is just AL. - Frustrated J.

School has taken on SIMS Parent App, initially to allow electronic reports to replace paper, printing and postage. I'd like to try a few test runs to see how it works. Couple of early difficulties. 1. On the admin page there are references to patches that are need. I click on the links and SQL files are downloaded - I am not sure how to apply these patches. 2. Because I want to give parents access to "Individual Reports" I assume it is the Reports section that I give access to these - but how do I assign the reports to make them available? I have looked at the assessment tab and there is a section for making marksheets available but I don't seem to be able to add any marksheets - maybe this is because the patch is not applied yet? 3. Is the report made available by clicking the upload button on SIMS in the Individual Report section? 4. I would like to try at least one student per year group to see how the parent app will work for them - but I am not sure of an easy way to do this. We have a couple of staff members who have children in some of the year groups so I suppose I could ask them to let me use their registration codes etc to access the app - but what about the other year groups - do I have to ask a parent for some temporary access or is there an easy way as an administrator to do these checks? These are probably very simple questions - but I have only had access to the program from this afternoon.

Hello Guys, As some of you may be aware, but on CC4.3 and CC4.5 there was a problem with Windows 7 builds where the build client would start searching for updates, but then timeout and fail. RM have got to the bottom of this and have released a fix which is currently in field trial. I myself for our school have installed the field trial, and I can confirm that mine (CC4.5 network) and another friend (CC4.3 Network) are no longer having any WSUS problems. Just want to say a massive thank you to RM, it has made my builds allot more easier and the computers are ready to use fully when they have being built. What the update does, it creates a scheduled task to run on the CC4 First Server to cleanup the WSUS database, but also the CC4 database so it doesn't take so long to search for updates no more. As well as this, I have also freed up about 24GB of disk space from the WSUS folder with unused updates. For those of you wondering what update I am talking about, please see: DWN5037756 Good job RM! Hello, After each termly SIMS upgrade, we have been applying the reindex Patch 22573 to hopefully improve SIMS' performance. Our IT manager says it is not showing in SOLUS 3 despite our Local Authority SIMS support team saying they have released it to our school. Does patch 22573 no longer show in SOLUS3? Must this patch now be applied manually and no longer via SOLUS3? Thanks in advance. Kind regards Mark
