  1. lol. Not to mention how worried county will look when they see the financial invoice for the purchase. Buy lots!!!!
  2. Started using this properly on January 23rd. Made some edits to the VBS scripts for a simple line input into the text files. Set up the shares on our second DC and then watched the logging start Only additional thing I've done is set up a batch script which archives the log files into a daily folder at 23:59 each night (scheduled task) and then clears out the active folders. i.e. $:\$$$Tracker\Users $:\$$$Tracker\Computers to $:\$$$Tracker\Archive\DD-MM-YYYY\Users $:\$$$Tracker\Archive\DD-MM-YYYY\Computers This will eliminate the need to ever do a tidy up or clear out. Only thing I have noticed is some machines aren't logging... most likely because they're just wanting a rebuild back on to CC3.
  3. Trust you to find the bug... oh yeah and remember it's "undocumented feature"
  4. Have only had a chance to have a quick go with this so far but... Looking Good!
  5. Now all we need is the Acer Outlet to sell some EduGeek mugs as well - it'll be an all inclusive outlet then
  6. Hold on a minute... it couldn't have been me! Google has said the following with regards to today's earlier spot of fun/mayhem. Google Blames Human Error for Malware Warning Mistake
  7. I guess my earlier screenshot makes me guilty... I'll get my coat...
  8. Couldn't resist... but it looks like they've fixed it now.

  11. any error message? icons not responsive to clicks? icons washout? ... (I'm assuming you're actually managing to get on to the drive and can see the icons etc for the files if it's showing in my computer)
  12. CC4 has now dragged on for our Junior School for nearing on a year now. The overtime hours mount up to approximately 500. The stress/politics has been undesirable. It's no longer a job - it's a nightmare. RM have been on site for a considerable number of hours because of this. Networks built with IB28 fresh are considerably better off than IB27 and less. We're finally at that stage where technical issues are not so much... now it's just packaging crates of software that needs to be done OFSTED were in last year and said that ICT should be part of the schools development and wanted to see such before they come again (expected this year). It was a major deciding factor in getting CC4, it's let us and many other schools down BUT the level of compensation really does depend on the impact at your school. RM realise the issues with CC4 and they're open to admitting the flaws. Push for what cost you feel is right but you also need to understand from their point of view (negotiate) - remember you'll need them for the future of your network.
  13. Work all term - Work all holiday. Contracted for term time only but expected to work the holiday where needed (overtime claimed). P.S. It's usually needed.
  14. Well worth a screen shot 10,000!
  15. Download Resolution Packages (.zip) | Alt Link Notes: - QRes Packages for 800x600, 1024x768 and 1440x900; - Individual packages just needs to be allocated out by allocation software or AD (CC3/CC4 compatible).
  16. See why BT are blocking at the Blue Coat level without having to call ICTS: Blue Coat Web Page Checker Blue Coat Filtering Castes for NSIX
  17. We basically have two layers of filtering implemented... LEA via BT's Bluecoat Internet Exchange & an Equiinet CachePilot on site. I'd ideally like to have a program at hand which I could copy a list of websites into which would visit each site and check for a phrase i.e. Access Denied (policy_denied) If the phrase was/wasn't found it would feedback appropriately. Any ideas?
  18. Ah, that's my next bit of password fun, right there!
  19. Good Suggestion though!
  20. Would be classic if he forgot the Bread and Milk!
  21. Love it! If you hurry you may be able to buy some store fittings.
