Blocking iGoogle but not google?
NeoPlosive replied to techyphil's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
If the modules use the gmodules.com address then you could block the specific addresses, otherwise if they use the standard domains your blocks should be working. -
Is this still an issue? How are they authenticating? CachePilot Inbuilt? LDAP/AD?

My honest advice would be to remove both the GINA and LogonUI Banner and just use the Microsoft Standard XP GINA. The GINA seems to be causing a lot more issues than it is worth and updates have been promised but they've not come or have been withdrawn by RM. The only things you want to do is deliver regtweaks via GPOs or the reg policies to turn off displaylogonoptions at the login and disableras logons (can send you the stuff across if you want it). The issue you will face is the displaying of the domain dropdown list but "because the login options are hidden - most users should login, but some will ultimately fiddle around by changing the selected dropdown option then compressing options again". As long as users are aware of which domain to login to it shouldn't be an issue. Set up works fine in the primary I manage -
I've seen this occur when one of our local filtering reg ex's (for completely another website/purpose) has gone and interfered with mymaths. I'd be inclined to think filtering... Even an explicit 'whitelist' didn't work, but explicit whitelisting should be your first step. Then try disabling lists one by one to see whether it identities any issues with an entry on a certain list.

Then again it'd also be really nice if Norfolk lifted the 10MB cap off our internet connection. It was a 10MB connection before but it's now slower than ever!

Would be nice if they'd come sort our back up router out as well...

Recently discovered TeamViewer 4. It's nice and simple - saves fiddling around with any firewall configurations. Easy UI too.

Hey mate, Link should be back online again within a few hours. I had to take emergency backups of the sites that were on my web server due to a failing hard drive. Also, needed some root DNS changes so I'm doing maintenance at the beginning of the holidays opposed to nearer September. I'll give you a PM when it's back online. -
Both very good points! Shall give the {32} a try. I would have tweaked, eventually, getting a bit tired of coding now been doing it all day.

This may have been one Google Search too soon! ^[a-zA-Z0-9]+$ seems to do the trick - going to test it properly and will post if any problems.

I'm doing a recoding of SourceBans which is a Steam ID banning system for Multiplayer Online Games (released under Creative Commons). I'm a bit useless with RegEx - theres a validation line which validates Steam IDs Steam IDs are STEAM_x:x:xxxxxxxxx I want to change it so it validates Punkbuster GUIDs instead. These are 32 characters log and alphanumeric. i.e. 299f51c289005b05069057e94938afec 3dbacc0e7126a796c60834b832526c49 Any suggestions?

We've had items not appear on the test screens due to the various students who have fiddled around with the contrast and brightness settings. May be worth a look? -
Shame its now giving a 404 error on /offer/* Must have been so great that the servers got hammered... may be it'll come back soon... but if not oh well
