Wasn't that slated as a release title for the PS3 back in the day? Ghostbusters - PlayStation 3 - GAME.co.uk - June 19 I did even see GT5 with a September release date in a few places too!

Haven't heard anything, haven't looked for anything either though, just skimming over interesting info.

Not as the destroyer of ideas etc - since we're only just moving up into EX2k7 (we bought licenses etc already) But, Have you thought about skipping it and going to EX2010? From what I can see, it's got something like 70% IOps requirements over 2k7 and plenty more things...

Setting up a trust between servers.
DrPerceptron replied to steve_nfi's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
Understanding Trusts: Active Directory Technet is somewhere I've found a starting point for anything I've done, it generally walks you through pretty much every step that's there and explains it all too. -
They're not VLANned differently are they? How about duplex settings? have you tried forcing both ends to 1000Mb/FDx ?

You're not the only person with issues... Bluetooth full stop seems to have lots of issues in Windows 7 Most people have gotten theirs fixed with reinstalls, disable/enable the device etc

Using Copyrighted music in course work

I seems to remember that there is some good stuff on Audio Network security if you look for it... could've been a different site (it was only available on gfl connections though...) -
Exchange 2007 Direct File Access
DrPerceptron replied to DrPerceptron's topic in Windows Server 2008
I did see that, I wondered if anyone else had found a better or different way.. I might play with it, see how it works and come up with some nifty sequence to run it against all the mailboxes.... Or I might just tell them to do it themselves, the lazy little so-and-so's Adito? The VPN dealie? -
Does any know if it's possible to publish a list of favourite document locations within OWA2007 for the users without them having to do it themselves, so that when they first logon, they can view their home drives etc from the Documents section?

If you scroll to the bottom on the bulk of non-cached pages, you can see the answers now... You could register as an expert I think and you can just view the answers normally.

http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/35575-domain-logon-screen.html#post332025 Definately handy to know, but I like the current background that comes with the RC and don't really intend on changing it. I don't see much point either really, since it's not something you spend more than a little while staring at...

Did you update a display driver from Windows Update? Every display driver I've ever taken from there has resulted in blue screens...

WDS converting capture files to install files
DrPerceptron replied to agedmcse's topic in Windows Server 2008
The last time I checked, you have two boot images that it presents when you use PXE one is the default one (in your case, probably the longhorn setup) the other is the capture image you make from the first (I think?) When you want to shove an image back on, you boot into the non-capture image and work through the menu's... Eventually, it gives a list of available images that have been captured - these will be trimmed in most cases, only showing you the images which match your HAL. Then you choose where it's going, hit done and it drags and expands the image as you expect it too... -
Amazon etc have a huge book on everything that's included in the exam.... generally, there's a book of biblical proportion to go with all the MS certifications. I was going to do it, but I've backed out now and decided to go down the route of taking the Server 2008 quali's and wait around for the Win7 qualification to become available...

If it's failed over to the spare disk in the array, then there's no problems with leaving it running - unless you're anticipating another disk dying, in which case... have fun with that We didn't have much of a choice in whether we could turn our failed disk's array off when one of ours went, so it had to stay up while we waited for a replacement disk. If it's something people really don't need for a few days, then by all means err on the side of caution and turn it off, otherwise, there's not a huge amount of risk in leaving it on (in my opinion)

Terminal Server running on Server 2008
DrPerceptron replied to f21970's topic in Windows Server 2008
expired password and TS Gateway probelm Can't be done apparently, unless it's changed in the last 5/6 months - It might be a feature in 2008 R2, perhaps worth a look? Some people got around the issue by coming up with systems that notify users when their password is going to expire, others have implemented the use of IISADMPWD to allow them to change their password as well... IISADMPWD Virtual Directory Is Not Created During a Default Install of IIS 6.0 If you dig through http://blogs.technet.com a few days ago there was a post which allowed you a free copy of the 2008 server TS guide - all 570~ pages of it! -
Generalisations are bad. I don't download music, I've always purchased it, but then, since I'm the proud owner of about 12 CD's over the last however long... I've downloaded plenty of games over the years, if I didn't like it, I saved myself £30 (not many places accept PC games as trade-ins, nowhere near me certainly), if I did like them, I've bought them - GTR:Evo was the last game I downloaded and then bought (in fairness, I'd have bought it without downloading, but I couldn't get hold of a copy for nearly 6 weeks...?) Demo's can be completely unrepresentative of the full game. I loved the Killzone 1 demo, hated the game. I downloaded a copy of all my old PC games, largely in part due to them being unreadable - I was a careless child. I tend to watch movies I'm somewhat skeptical about online, in most cases though, I never watch the whole movie because I get bored after a short while and have saved myself the £6 ticket to be bored to death, If I lived nearer a cinema, my nearest is 14 miles away, then chances are I would probably risk the £6. but since that's effectively fuel money, it's not worth it. So, there are still people who try. isoHunt - the BitTorrent and P2P search engine

I fixed my issue using Verbose logging with the MSI. I hadn't read through the inf totally and it was asking for a .sys file that wasn't included with the XP download, so I had to get the 2k driver and include that. *shakes fist at Broadcom*

You'll want to use the Workgroup Manager features of OSX to do that by the sounds of it... Apple - Mac OS X Server - Features - Client Management

mapping printers via .vbs & GPO
DrPerceptron replied to techie211's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
If you have Server 2003 R2, you can leverage that to deploy it. You could use printui.dll I think to add a printer per machine http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/2/c/82cffcfa-56f6-4fc3-bfa5-80cd84793871/PrintUIUsersGuide.doc [ Windows Server 2003: PrintUI.DLL User's Guide and Reference ] -

Most Sit-Coms. Any Soap Anything that involves B-list celebrities Anything that involves the public of any nation - even more so when kids are involved The News. "popular repeats" - you know, the one's that are *always* repeated. morning/daytime chat shows the tasteless drivel that interupts my viewing of SBSP on saturdays (saturday/sunday kids presenters and the utterly s$£*e they throw out. I think that covers about 3/4 of TV, I don't think I watch the other 1/4 much...

Has anyone had a go at using DIFxApp to install drivers? I've made the package and I tested it and it worked, but on any machine I try, it dumps the files into my install DIR where it should then kick in the driver installer, take the files from there and do what it needs to... however, it just crashes the installer service and "ends prematurely" quiet or interactively.
