  1. Catty Catty McCat Cat? or whats-its-name or what-do-you-call-it or thingy-magig or you know
  2. Having a real problem downloading the Parrallels Desktop for Mac update, version 3.0.5608 Has anyone updated to this and still got the DMG files they could upload for me, or even better, experienced problems downloading the file and know how to over come it. It finds the update fine, but when it comes to download it, it doesn't complete. Just hangs. Tried on many occasions on many different days, tried auto update and tried manual and both do the same thing. Cheers.
  3. Have you checked all the parental controls settings? someone might have meddled or you accidently set something doing it? Things to check would be the Time Limits section. If not, check the power saving settings, to see if it's set to sleep at somepoint? Or remove the power saving settings altogether and see if that helps define the problem abit more. These are only the simple options that I thought of in my spare 5 minutes.
  4. i'm still glad about being punched in the head by fred durst =D well never get over that If you watch Eat You Alive on youtube, when he first starts the song you can see him holding onto somones fist at the begining, I can assure you that is my fist. I can show put on a picture of my wrist bands to prove it!
  5. I missed devil driver due to being passed out at 6 in the morning KSE were really good, but I've seen them before and they've been better the first time I saw them Anyone go see Forever Never? They were pretty sweet!
  6. i'll be there next year! i was camped in brown, which was hardly full but then it was quite far away. but it was so empty we picked up my mates tent (fully put up) and moved it across the site! Black Stone Cherry were fantastic and really enjoyed Shinedown. Being at the front barrier for Faith No More was a real treat! Slipknot OWNED EVERYTHING! Best time I've seen them yet Limp Bizkit have to go down as one of the best bands and best surprise yet Also, Static X has to go down as one of my favourite bands! Machine Head for a headlining spot next year?
  7. didn't see anyone from here at download.. shame BUT IT WAS AWESOME I got punched in the head by Fred Durst and to the front barrier for faith no more. and the bands I saw were just incredible! Got week I think
  8. we used to enjoy walking through the camps shouting Timmy anyway anyway, it's almost home time and tip to download starts tomorrow hope to see people there!
  9. people will probably try and return them, like we've left them there by accident
  10. Ohh i see we're leaving about 1 tomorrow so should get there for 3 ish? Dunno what camp we'll aim for. Was in red in 2007, even though it was so far back it was a good laugh!
  11. or the cd drive GENIUS! Keep the ideas coming, will film the Tech team (all two of us) carrying out the best idea and stick it on here. Probably in the summer holidays if it's messy
  12. who thinks edugeek should supply every member with Hammertime Pants?
  13. How'd you know what camp you'll be in? I'll keep an eye for a buddha I was trying to get hold of a plastic garden gnome but everyone else thought it was a bad idea! instead i'm bringing breakfast in a can. Which just sounds bad
  14. I'll be willing to throw alcohol at you! if you get a bottle of rum to the back of the head.. not my fault you didn't have to post the picture if you didn't want to hah
  15. COUNTRY AND BLUEGRASS!! Sweet, adding them to my list to see The people I'm with probably want to see them with me, I'll go alone Problem is Stu, we don't know what you look like, we won't know if we see you! Look for some scary dreaded thing like my picture and walla.. you can all attack me!
  16. That would be huge.. and uber tempting. Wouldn't we have to make them all square though? thats alot of effort! That's alot of bottle tops, way to many E numbers before diner. But could race them, almost like a geeky rubber duck race or glue them to a chair? easier? Food Tech probably want their microwaves whole CD's are to light, blow around to easily. If not we'd just get a kid to throw them Youtube's block on my mac, will check it out later. In the mean time, explain what happens? They're only Dell discs, class idea but printing labels could class as a "waste" of resources for this reason. Might get one at home and do this though That's an idea. All we need is two REALLY FAST spinning wheels placed an appropriate distance apart *contemplates* To original, we haven't got all that much blue tack too Isn't that why god invented ants?
  17. It has it's old school feel to the line up this year. Might even change it's name to Monsters of Rock for a year
  18. Talk alot to the librarian here, the cleaner likes to talk to us, we being polite reply, however it's hard to leave when she starts. She has good intentions though, so we don't mind. Like Steve said, have a good laugh with the office admin staff. Apart from those, a couple of the maths stuff are nice to chat to about general stuff, and the music teachers are good to talk to. One in particular shows the same passion in bands and festivals as I do, so constantly talking him about that, he lends me drum equipment and stuff like that, which is cool. Even spoke to him about a possible school trip to the drum world record in Birmingham! To me, a Techy on a school trip is unheard of, love my drums though
  19. Can't you just right click the file, get info and check the settings in there. Might need to check the file doesn't inherit permissions in Server Admin, so the folder's permissions doesn't apply to all descendants before hand. edit: sorry to repeat, I hadn't refreshed this page, done a job then come back to it and hadn't realised there was another reply. But if you log in as the Server Admin, should be able to change all the permissions from the Get Info panel. Or have I over simplified your problem?
  20. Enter Shitkari aren't worth putting in to be honest When about are they slotted anyway? And who are Thunder?
  21. I recommend Forever Never on the Red Bull stage on Saturday. Saw them at a gig in a pub function room near me, then a couple of months later supporting Stone Sour. Infact, on one of their Myspace blogs you could actually see me in one of their pictures. They have a really good metal sound, specially if you like Killswitch Engage or Stone Sour They are an epic band and could really get some where. Check them out before hand if you get the chance
  22. we have about a hundred discs we don't want.. anyone think of a game we can invent to get rid of them in an entertaining way? Disc shooting wouldn't work as they are not heavy enough, and we have nothing to shoot them with. So all idea's welcome!
  23. Or you could use Microsoft Project, if you have a license? Or if you want it to look pretty more than it is practical use Visio? But that would be a brave idea, it's not really suited for that. Anyone seen the weather forecast? Looks like wellies rather than flip flops
  24. Get to camp for longer, drink at night and have a crazy time with other campers who also left on the wednesday... costs more but half the festival is the night life! so why not start two days early! Also, get closer tents to the fest. leaving friday isn't a huge biggie.. will just be in a further back campsite.
  25. ahh thats fair enough turns out that it was my ticket that was delivered, my mums picked it up today. Buying everything tomorrow. Leaving Wednesday CAN'T WAIT!
