  1. well they do the whole touch search thing don't they.. so they would feel the bulge of the bladder and probably question it. You could blame it on a giant abses or something like that...
  2. Oh wow... was that in the academy? if so, if You had gone next door to the Academy 3 you could have seen my band play.. it was one of the unsigned gigs. Was going to try and use the backstage pass to go meet the fish, but we thought against it. Still, it was cool to be playing in a building metres away from the fish and streetlight!
  3. where did you see Streetlight and Reel Big Fish... not trying to steal the thread but if that was last year then I saw (I'm guessing) the same tour in Bristol
  4. this should totally work Not sure if the bladder idea would get searched, although if you have a t-shirt in your hand and put a half full on in that, they'd probably feel the tshirt, feel nothing hard, and let it through..
  5. the lock up stage has some nice bands on there I would love to see, Anti Flag are awesome live, streetlight manifesto are EPIC live! I recommend them to everyone! Mad Caddies I would love to see, Rise Against are a good band to see live and is Bouncing Soles are actually Bouncing Souls then I would love to see them too
  6. strongbow *shudders* I'll be spending days pouring Rum and a prefered choice of cider into plastic bottles. I might make my own version of a bladder (the bag of alcohol you get in a box, usually with wine or un-sparkling cider) by attaching some soft of straw to it. Shove it in my pocket and i'm away!
  7. sweeet still, going to have to take my own. It's not as fun if you dont try
  8. Sounds good.. but I don't think its worth the extra money to be honest.. I'd rather just watch the bands slowly getting more and more drunk.
  9. you just joined the dark side... and not even the real dark side... the other dark side has cookies. but no
  10. i havent seen them, but then i've already bought my ticket what do they include?
  11. Have you tried zeroing the free space? Or also known as deleting free space. Found out not long ago that delete files still use disk space. So even though it's been deleted, and even be removed from the trash, it is technically still on the disk drive. In the disk utility there is an option to erase free space (sounds odd, I know). It's under the erase tab when the volume is selected.
  12. God Forbid, Hate Breed and A Day to Remember are AWESOME And I think I've seen We Are The Ocean in one of my local pubs and they were alright Anyone think they'll have any ska in the small stages? Like 2007 had Reel Big Fish At the moment, it looks like Black Stone Cherry and Shinedown are playing at the same time.. officially going to cry!
  13. Hi Guys Does anyone use any filtering software on an xserve? And if yes, how do you find it? We're thinking of getting some and was keen to see whats being used already. I am aware of the ability to prevent access to some websites using parental controls, however this didn't prove all that effective when combined with my lack of knowledge Thanks
  14. its easy to see how people would fall for that.
  15. SHINEDOWN ARE IN!!!

    Tiscali

anyone know of any news of Tiscali going bust? tried to get on the internet this morning and I couldn't, wondering if it because they've finally died completely?
  17. Have you tried using connecting a iMac with the base image to the xserve(?) through firewire? this is what we do, and then use System Image Utility to grab the image from the iMac base image. As far as I know, if everythings set up correctly it will automatically put it in the right place and automatically put it into Server Admin for you to select as the default image, which will be used when you hold down the N key, as you do already. You then go through the installation as usual. Only problem is connecting the iMac to the xserve through firewire.
  18. English, American, Australian, Majority of Canadian, Cockney Rhyming to a certain extent, German, complete nonsense.
  19. Does homer have more Ram on him? and does Marge complain about a 3.5" floppy? and does bart have the hardest drive? I miss college =[
  20. or superheros or the characters from Blade or tennis players (them being servers and all) just thought of some more =D
  21. the karma suitra springs to mind.. or on a more serious note*, members of S Club 7 or Blazin Squad? (*Serious note still not being serious, but servers named after sexual positions would not be a logical idea in a school)
  22. should have tried to get a Sony Ericsson W300i on ebay. They're small, cute, have a easy to use MP3 player built in with a really rubbish camera I love mine, everything on it is easy and the predictive text actually works, and doesn't annoy me. AND it seems pretty indestructible too. Mines been through so many crashes on a bike / longboard, still holding strong!
  23. Touch typing hell!! For huge office documents i really don't recommend them, but for general web browsing and research they're pretty good We have about 10 Asus EEE Pcs, mainly for PE to register on. We also use XP Pro which we have cut down to the bear essentials. My mum has one at home also, the linux comes with a selection of AWESOME Tux games!
  24. saves idea ready to use for next year
