Hi, apologies for the delay, was on annual leave yesterday (not your Birthday everyday! lol). There is an RM03A unit, however as I understand this may not be released in Europe (I haven't had confirmation of this yet), we demonstrated the RP04 prototype which will be available 2024 ( ). Can you advise which wireless dongle you have purchased? Additionally are they connected to the internet and has the firmware been updated on the panels and have the apps been updated? Hi, I can confirm that ActivInspire will work on BenQ interactive displays (licence permitting), you need to tweak a setting to "full touch" in the preferences. The BenQ interactive displays come with pens, but you can continue to use your existing pens. We also have our own whiteboard software called EZWrite 6 which is built in to latest interactive displays and available on PC, Mac and browser. There is no cost for this software it will open .iwb & .notebook files, you should also be able to export from ActivInspire as an .iwb file. Hi, On the interactive screens we have something called Instashare / Instashare 2 (model dependent), this supports iOS, Android, Windows & Mac casting to and from the screen; depending on the model you can display up to 9 devices on the interactive display. Hi, Appreciate the feedback on our products, positive or negative they are appreciated. I will feed this back to our development team. Just to add that on BenQ Broadcast you can schedule messages days, weeks, months in advance. Broadcast is split in to "Interrupt" & "Schedule". You have a flag on both for "Important" messages that are not cancellable locally and will play an alert through the speaker. Additionally on the schedule function you can set a repeat cycle. On both you can do text (static or scrolling), images, video (including YouTube), audio, files (.PDF, .PPT & Google Slides via Google Drive). Broadcast is included FOC on our interactive displays, along with DMS (Device Management System) & AMS (Account Management System), they just need internet connectivity, all of our screens come with a LAN port and our RP03 screens include the optional wireless. mavhc, If you haven't purchased the optional WiFi dongle, there is a hidden compartment (lower left corner of the soundbar I think) which contains a USB port that you can install the WiFi dongle (is using) or the remote USB Bluetooth dongle. On the newer RP03 screens there are 2 USB ports in this hidden compartments. To clarify for any other users reading this, the Bluetooth USB dongle / remote is only on the RM & RP (not RE series).

The higher up the range you go the higher the spec (including germ resistant, CO2 sensors & air ioniser). All are available in 65", 75" & 86". As long as you register within first 30 days they are all 5 year de/re-install warranty and all come with fixed wall bracket. All with access to cloud services (device management, broadcast and account system if needed at no extra charge). All are 4K UHD that upscale really well (how much true 4K content is there out there in education?). Even if you don't really want interactive I would recommend going interactive (maybe RE) as they all have toughened glass, one knock to a TV and you need to replace it. Hi, at BenQ we have a wide range of projectors for large venue / hall spaces; from UST (poster above is correct you need to have flat projection surface or you will get distortions), standard bright projectors, lens options and laser light source. If you would like to know more or discuss the options drop me a DM. We also go up to 98" in interactive screens, if you were considering a screen as an option I would recommend an interactive screen over a large TV even if you don't plan to interact; purely due to the toughened glass on the interactive screens.

Hi, in terms of the update cycle, I'll try and answer: - the version of Android (e.g. 11) that is installed on the screen, will always be the the same version. However, for as long as Google provide security updates we will continue to integrate them in to our customised Android OS - in terms of our customised Android OS and firmware, we will continue to support the device with updates throughout the lifetime of the product (minimum 3 years). Newer products receive more frequent updates (on average 3 or 4 times a year), these will include upgrades to latest versions of our own software as well as applying security updates I hope that has helped answer your questions, if you have any other questions please let me know.

Hi, It is possible to sideload 3rd party apps on the BenQ panels, we cannot guarantee compatibility with all 3rd party apps. Historically I have found the slightly older stand alone Microsoft Apps work better than the combined Office 365 App. I tend to use http://www.apkmirror.com, though other websites are available. If you'd like to drop me a message with your model number I'll advise the options for side loading apps.

Hi, Chris from BenQ here, we have a wide range of interactive screens. I would echo some other users comments about suitability of TVs in the classroom down to plastic chassis and next to zero screen protection. What may be of interest to you is our RE01 range (65"-98"), yes these are interactive but you can disable this or just keep the bare minimum of interactivity (in built freeze and blank). With the added protection of reinforced tempered glass on the screen, wall mount in the box and if registered within 30 days of purchase the warranty goes from 3 year de/re-install to 5 year de/re-install. At best a consumer grade TV will be a swap out warranty. The RE is our "Essential" range, if you are interested or would like to know more then send me a message. If you are now considering interactive you of course have the RE01 range but we also have our RM03 "Master" range and RP02/RP03 "Pro" range which are both available in 65"-86".

Hi, I've had confirmation that currently Linux is not supported, you may be able to workaround by changing agents. However I can advise that support for Linux (x86) is being developed, but I don't have a timeframe yet.

Available as an .msi or .exe, no registration unless you want to use the cloud whiteboard feature; where you can either request a free license code (via email address) or sign in with a BenQ AMS account if you have one. You can open .iwb & .notebook files. It comes pre-installed on our latest RMxx03 panels but can be installed on a PC too. If you'd like to know more, let me know. Hi, It differs on the range: RE01 - 8.0 RM03 - 9.0 RP02 - 8.0 They run on a customised version of Android and is locked down apart from our apps and features (though as with all Android OS you can enable unknown sources etc.). Updates are covered for the lifetime of the product and can either be installed manually via USB (with firmware provided from our service team), manually via OTA from the screen or manually via the cloud based DMS Device Management System. You can also disable Android completely and keep the touch, if you just want an interactive panel to control an external device, driver free - supporting PC, mac & Chromebook.
