We have a mix of AMD and Intel, there has never been any compatability issues. Ours is all down to cost at the time purchasing.

i5 and 16GB minimum these days, laptop or desktop, 24" monitors, 500GB hard drive, upgraded to 1TB in areas where high traffic users due to profile size.

The Evole2 65 is what we have just got its good, I even found the more basic wired one ok and our office is loud.

I've got it twice on my door step this year now, although last nights photo wasn't great as I caught it a bit later I have seen some amazing photos from along the coast and up on the wolds. Very lucky.

A Fujitsu network scanner would be my choice but not for that price, you would be looking a lower end printer/scanner devices.

Not sure what print queue security you are on about but are you using a PaperCut or Standard TCP/IP port for the queue? I have found PaperCut ports play up on some printers, try the native TCP/IP one.

Just picked up on 120ppm, it used to be far cheaper to have 2 x 50/60ppm machines and still have change but gives you more resilience if one went down just something to factor in.

ManageEngine is great, we use the service desk product and others teams have the customer service version to manage the workload into them. Slowly setting teams up with their own instances. In use with ME desktop central can manage devices too, absolute life saver and it all integrates.

It's not uncommon for a screw to be the cuase of this a number of years on but removing units off the walls shouldn't be necessary yet. Any good sparky will have their multi function tester and be able to rest each circuit one by one and check them to rule them out and then once on the faulty circuit the should be able to pin in between two points based on calculations worked out (stuff I don't understand but have watched and seen it done on YouTube). A video on David Savery's channel did detail a similar process a few months back, cannot find the exact video and content isn't PG and might not be everyone's cup of tea but you can learn from what he's trying to get at.

Lenovo isn't bad kit but we are moving back to Dell, they are a bit more robust and support is better. USB C docks are the way forward, use a monitor with it all built in.

Question for anyone hosting their infrastructure in Azure. Have you got a Always on VPN server in Azure and does it work? We are looking at migrating everything to the cloud and told this doesn't work, has anyone got any experience of it?

Not 100% sure yet, suppsoed to be taking the classics up to a vehicle meet but I'm also out twice in the week so need to be sensible as its only 8mpg!

If your using VOIP these days can you not make use of the directories on the handsets themselves rather than physical lists? Maybe have key buttons on phones for key lines i.e. medical, reception if the phones allow?

Do you have detectors in these rooms already, I would get these replaced with new ones as many of them have a strobe built in for this purpose.

You cannot insall Sophos on your image as such, if you do you need to prep it for deployment. You are better adding it as a task once imaged to install.

You can get smart blind motors that you put your strings in and then use something like Home Assist to link it all together, will be the cheapest way and something I had considered but not done yet.

If you require release then you will need PaperCut, if you just want to print Mobility Print will publish the printers and allow you to do it. If you have copiers then if you use with PaperCut MF you can release jobs on the copiers.

You wouldn't even need PaperCut NG if you just wanted to print, you could use Mobility Print standalone.

Fish products made in the factories here are on the same line for M&S, Waitrose, Tesco and other supermarkets, just get put into different boxes. All come from the same place.

If they are not on the same domain as your setup then yes mobility print is ideal, they will how ever need a domain username and password for that domain for it to work as they need to authenticate. I have mine on the same server for what little use it gets, you can run it on another server depends how secure your network setup is. Obviously the network they are on will need to see the mobility print server. There is a bug I have found with it where it doesn't always display the printers as in config is stripped out the server IP so didnt know where to look so if you have an issues give me a shout and I will dig out what I did to make it work. I have mine setup so will only display printers based on IP and the hostname of the PC.

I've used various machines and had various contracts over the last 20 years and for me Sharp stands out, you can easily get 5 years out of them but I wouldn't want anymore. The only exception to that would be devices in print rooms unless they well maintained by the supplier. I have seen larger machines with 8 million+ on. Sharp do have or did set out what each machine is capable of volume wise. I have the latest range on a 40ppm and had previous ones and some of them where 6+ years old and we only replaced as we had budget available as we purchase ours out right if it wasnt for that I wouldn't of bothered replacing.

Visual Studio is installed on the IIS web server and changes where made and rebuilt/republished.

It was an IIS error about a file not been there, forgot to screenshot it. All was done on the web server itself, nothing copied all local. I just reverted changes and came back to the drawing board.
