Good planning, do you have a disaster recovery plan, we have had to put our into action a few times when some of our sites have got burned to ashes, it's surprising how thankfull schools are when you can have their email server up and running the day after the school burns down, and their data available after 2 days! D

We run the same as you but with the addition of a 6 monthly full backup tape and a year full backup tape both on rotation. We also backup to a NAS offsite weekly.

Hi, Are there any licensing implications for schools that want to show their pupils content from iPlayer? We have a few members of staff who want to show programs on the Whiteboard for use in lessons, such things as popular soaps in Drama lessons etc. Do schools need a public broadcast licence to do this? D

I've noticed of late there are many threads that flare up, people comment and people don't like it. I'm finding it increasingly annoying, it's meant to be an open friendly forum and you get posts like the one above, if you don't like it, ignore it, its easier than causing a fuss. D

Simply Rescan Disks in Computer Management - Disk Management. The new disk won't be initialized so you will need to initialize it, then create and format the new volume. If that does not work then it may need setting up in RAID Manager, on either your onboard controller or on your addin card. D
