Technology Trainer – Home Based or Hull Office, £24,000 – £26,000 Who are we? We are a Microsoft Partner that specialises in creating engaging innovative solutions for SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Office 365. As our customer base is growing, we are looking for an experienced enthusiastic technology trainer to provide education technology specific training to teachers and school staff. We pride ourselves on being at the cutting-edge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams solutions in the world education market with customers in the UK and abroad. We help our customers and the wider community through blogs, open-source software and YouTube video guides. Our technology trainers contribute to this community. Our team are friendly and supportive, we have regular social events both in Hull and virtually to ensure you feel welcome and part of the team. What we need you to do This role can be taken remotely or at our office in Hull. If you are home-based, you will need a quiet place to work. You must be confident delivering training remotely while answering questions. The main products you will be working with are our range of integration products, linking the school MIS to SharePoint, Teams and Office 365. We will provide full training on our courses and support you. You must be enthusiastic and feel confident talking about education as well as the technology so that you can answer all the questions that teachers or senior leaders may ask. You must be passionate and engaging, creating lasting relationships with customers as our technology trainer. Although we are hoping to transition to remote training long term, at some point in the future you may be required to travel across the UK to deliver training in person. This may require hotel stays and occasionally you might travel abroad as part of the technology trainer role. What we will do for you 21 days paid holiday per year plus bank holidays. However, home working isn’t for everyone -some need the face-to-face contact an office gives! Office 365 is constantly evolving, and you will need to be a quick learner with a passion for technology. We will provide a laptop and all the relevant software. You will need a suitable area for working in your home with a reliable broadband connection, unless you are based at our office in Hull.
