Hi, I am looking for a bit of advice, I have a HP Z240 SFF WORKSTATION with a compatible HP 560SFP+ 10GB Network card installed Running Windows 11, I want to connect it to my Unifi USW Pro 8 port PoE it has 2 SFP+ Ports, I understand the HP 560SFP+ 10GB Network card only works with the HP 10GbE SFP+ Transceiver's. So My question is Do i need a HP 10GbE SFP+ Transceiver at the Network card end and a Ubiquiti Networks UACC-OM-MM-10G Transceiver at the Switch end? Or will i need x2 HP 10GbE SFP+ Transceiver's one at each end? I have run Fiber Optic Cable LC/UPC to LC/UPC OM4 Multimode Duplex, between the PC and the Unifi Switch. Any help would be Great Thanks Mark

Yes make a Backup of that Policy Then Make the Action delete and Set up the new one's I Would test it on 1 PC First, Change it to Delete, Check if it has deleted the Printer, Re-Add your Old IP's back and check again it should have added them? if they wok then you know it can be pushed out.

Yes +1 for inventry used it quite a bit in the past.

You should be able to Set a GPO to Delete all printers then add your New one's shoudl be no reason why you can't use the same IP.

I use untangle at home and it does a great job, but never used it in a school, we where looking at putting it in School as our LA look after out internet and its a nightmare to get them to block/unblock sites, we could do this from untangle ourselves. The Reporting is poor, and you would have to go in and add every machine name so you know what is what, you can set up rules ect. You can downlaod the Free Version stick it on a old PC with around 4GB Ram and you will need 2 nic Cards, set it up and test it! If you need any help let me know!

We are a Primary School with around 450 Pupils, I have been asked to look and see if there was anything around where a Pupil Can purchase an ipad through School, well kind of, Bring the Ipad in to School and use and take home. The Ipad is locked down and the school push out the apps. We would like a company to look after the payments for ipads ect Anyone done this? I have a few questions! 1. If the Ipad is locked down at the end of the Pupils time at School How will they be managed. 2.If the Pupil Buys the ipad should we be locking them down? as they dont belong to the School. Out of the Box I dont think you can, they need something in the middle, Like Papercut or Uniflow, We Use Papercut MF papercut do a Free 5 Licence, papercut NG (https://www.papercut.com/products/ng/) They also do some free software called Print Logger, (https://www.papercut.com/products/free-software/print-logger/) I have not used Print logger but it looks quite good for just pulling information. Just check your Sims Share on your server looks as it should, just for testing add the machines, right click share>Properties>Sharing Tab>Advanced Sharing>Click permissions>Add>Object types>tick Computers>Add Computer Names and add Test Again can you browse?

In your Network settings on the PC's input the ip address/gateway and DNS and re-boot then try and ping them or browse to them and let us know the results. Is it Solus 3 you are using?
