More importantly, has your 5G been switched on yet? -
DJ swore to me that it wasn't him, and it seems he was telling the truth. I think he'd be enjoying the confusion though!

Watched this just this morning. It was well done, although so sad to see Paul Ritter almost unrecognisable due to his ill health, but brave of him to want to do it anyway, because of what it meant to him.

If @Katy tries to claim that my socks should be sent to her, don’t listen… and no, @GDPR does *not* approve!!

I've been putting this off for too long (20 years)

Any address fine or are you wanting to send them to school addresses again?

I should be between jobs at that point so I’ll come! Shorter trip for me now I’m in London!

Pleasantly surprised so far at how little I'm feeling the effects of my vaccine, although it's only the morning after, there's still time! Little bit sore in the arm, but not terribly so, other than that feeling pretty good. -
I believe there is also a setting to turn the Mac back on after a power loss, but yeah, scheduling a boot is easy enough. Did it when I used my old Mac mini as a home server.

Then even more radiation gets reflected at you and you die instantly. Not even once…

Oh me too. I don't have a 747 window panel though! I have fond memories of camping on the airfield at Kemble as an Air Scout. The airfield was a treasure trove to the teenage me, all the historic jets plus a few aerobatic aircraft, including Steve Jones' Sukhoi SU-26 (I was a massive Red Bull Air Race fan at the time!)

They’ll strip them of anything useful, then recycle the materials. Seem to remember watching a programme about it once on TV. That’s Kemble, isn’t it?

So when you tap the three dots, you should get the list up and there’ll be an edit button in the top right corner like so That will allow you to change the order around, but you’ll also notice switches to make apps visible/hidden. Hopefully you’ll find your apps in there with the switch off and it’ll just be a case of turning them on. Hope this helps!

I came home to a box. A much bigger box than I expected! Thank you so much @VeryPC @VeryPC_Nicole! P.S @Katy is jealous because I have more pairs of the new colour socks than her. Good work
-
I have sent a PM as suggested, thank you guys! I am sure they will put a smile on my face, as well as literally brighten my day!
-
She’s lying and just trying to steal more socks for herself, don’t listen to her!

Am watching the excitement with envy. Unfortunately I can’t have stuff sent to the schools I look after!

Random question here, just trying to brainstorm things (not had to try and license Office 365 for shared Macs in a while). Office 2016/2019 had a Volume License Serialiser where you could run the .pkg and it would license it with your Microsoft volume licensing. Do they do something similar for Office 365?

A stash of snacks close by.

It's funny, I went to my nearest Tesco yesterday to pick up some bits, and while it was much quieter than last time I went during the weekend (at around the end of November so around lockdown 2's beginning), I saw quite a few groups going around. Kind of annoyed me. -
Totally imagining @VeryPC_Nicole pushing the lorry with super-human strength.

Is the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U any good for a pupil laptop?
tg12 replied to TwistedHelixis's topic in Hardware
My work laptop has a Ryzen 5 3500U, it's more than capable! -
Opportune time to bring back scratch and sniff books...

Might be worth trying internet recovery by holding cmd-option-R on boot rather than just cmd-R. Should then reach out to Apple’s servers for a fresh instance of the recovery tools
