We're trying to come up with a solution to make our Macs workable in a school environment. Saving documents to an individuals folder locations has caused some problems with the Macs we have in the past. Is there a way to set the OneDrive folders of the users as their home folder on MacOS? For reference, we're using Catalina. We're using Mosyle as our MDM.

This is true, but it will ask the users to sign into Office and then ultimately use one of their 5 licenses they have available to them - we don't want that to be happening.

Can I deploy office 365 desktop apps to shared macOS devices? If so, how do I do this? If not, how are others deploying office to shared Mac's?

Hi Everyone, We're looking to redo our macs in a school environment. I'm looking for some suggestions on the current best practices for setting up macs in this environment in terms of users being able to log in using their AD accounts, and being able to save their data to a central location so it can be backed up. If anyone has any advice on this, that would be appreciated. Thanks

This is great, thanks. I was looking at the Azure AD stuff yesterday so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. My main concern was licensing and how we'd get around that. Appreciate the help.

Hi All, We're looking at deploying Office 365 desktop apps to our machines in a school environment. My question is, how are other schools doing this in such a way that the maximum 5 licenses per user doesn't cause any problems? As far as I can tell, if someone was to log into 5 devices around the school it would cause them problems signing into office on other machines. If anyone could offer any kind of insight as to how we do this without those problems, that'd be great. Thanks
