Apple have already announced they are supporting Thunderbolt on their new ARM chips, would expect it's TB4 Yeah that would be handy, i know a few manufacturers use the colour coding for USB A ports. Not aware of any for USB C though. Least with TB you know what you're getting due to the standards, seeing a non labelled USB-C port could mean anything. With it being labelled (or documented) as a TB3/4 you know what you can do with it simple enough. Edit to include picture:

Depends how talkative you are The more integration with iOS the better for me, i love simple things atm like being able to open up apps instantly from where i left off on my phone. So hopefully with the change to ARM and the ability to use iOS apps on the Mac will make it even sleeker. Also the AirPods moving between devices instantly is a god send, the amount of fiddling i have to do sometimes to move mine around is annoying. tvOS popping up with camera feeds when it detects moving etc. is really cool, i don't have any cameras as don't have my own place but will be looking into it when i do!

So lots of talking points from WWDC20! As an avid apple sheep user i'm interested to see where the ARM based macs go! I have a mid 2015 mbp 13" which i love but need to upgrade as it's not the fastest and only 128GB, but now thinking i'll hang on to it till it's no longer getting the latest OS as gives them time to iron out their ARM issues. Also i've already installed Big Sur and it looks very much like iOS/iPad Round up: https://www.theverge.com/2020/6/22/21299042/apple-wwdc-2020-recap-biggest-announcements-ios-ipados-macos-silicon-chips-mac

Make sure they are using Edge or Chrome (or the app), it doesn't support Safari. How are they doing the ppt? directly to the ppt file or sharing screen then showing the ppt?

As far as i'm aware (i could be wrong) you have to turn on Secure boot in the BIOS and re-install windows. I believe an existing version of windows won't run if secure boot is turned on having been off for the install.

Hi All, How do you deal with power management in the suites? before I've had a task scheduler set to restart at X time, turn off at X time and then a setting to turn it on in the morning. This was only on one suite, i'd rather not have to go around and change the bios setting on all our machines! I was wondering if there was any easier ways? I've had a look in SCCM and all i can see to find is the power plan settings, nothing to do with shutting down and waking up. Devices are co-managed between SCCM and Intune. Thanks Dalek

How to deploy Adobe creative cloud via Intune
DalekSec replied to lionsl2005's topic in Cloud Services
I had a look into this, but in the end drew a line under it after i discovered that the max limit for Windows Apps in Intune is 8GB and our adobe suite install is 20GBish. We only have 3 staff who have it on their devices so just manually installed it, the suites are then done via our SCCM deployment. Might be worth looking at the self service packages in adobe if your licensing covers it (ours doesn't) and seeing if you can push out the CC app and staff can then install whatever they need from it. -

Apart from bot lane anywhere, the missing member is normally top lane but can move lanes around if you prefer mid or jgl. Are you a member of the Edugeek discord? If so can talk about it in there

Hi All, Me and a bunch of other Edugeekers have been taking part in Clash in LoL since it's come out. On Sunday though someone is unable to make it and we don't have anyone else we know to fill the gap! Anyone out there fancy taking part? No offence to new players but would like someone who's played a bit of LoL before and not new to the game! Dalek
