That is correct, however the OP didn't specify whether or not the computer/laptop the teachers were using are static. If a teacher has a laptop and uses multiple rooms, that method wouldn't work. I'm going from my school's set up, we also use Impero so it would be useful to know.

Interesting question but I'm not sure if it's possible to do that in such a dynamic way, you'd need to grab data regarding the current room etc. Maybe @russdev can shed some light..

If it wasn't on the NatGeo youtube channel then it was removed via a Copyright Claim, so unless you want to 'pirate' it you won't find a download. You could probably stream it in parts from websites though, if you Google the name.

I hate threads like these because they spiral into a ramble of android vs iOS. To actually answer OP's question, I would personally pick the Samsung - In my personal experience they're better built (still not great) than the iPhone in terms of durability, my opinion on the operating system side of things is that Android has more freedom.

I've never heard of VIVO unfortunately, but if you want it to be 'live' as in updating without the need to refresh the page then you may want to look into using AJAX on the webpage - not sure how you could grab the actual data though without having used VIVO before so maybe someone else can shed some light in terms of that..

Tried the obvious things? could be compatibility, try running as admin and/or changing compatibility to an older version of windows.

I used CodeAcademy and it is by far the easiest way I've seen so far to get into any language, not only does it explain the concepts and information - the online interpreter/compiler lets you easily get hands-on and learn the syntax.

Sounds like your manager has been on the gin.. Are you using a web based client such as gmail or something like outlook?

We've freshly installed around 15-20 new interactive screens throughout the School (and obviously all the teacher laptops have been rebuilt etc) but one issue we keep having is that as soon as the person connected to the interactive decides to exit anything fullscreen (Powerpoint, YouTube video etc) the display switches back to 'extend' when it is originally set to 'duplicate'. Now I know someone will say "Just tell them to windows+P!" but unfortunately we have already told them how to switch back, but people forget & human error etc. I'd rather fix the root problem as this wasn't happening last year. The screens are connected to the laptops via HDMI and USB (for touch-interactivity). Anyone got any ideas? if there's a way to automatically set the machines to "duplicate" as soon as it detects another display that'd just be awesome.

Haven't seen or used this before but if it's free its definitely worth checking, SagePay is competitive but will still chip into your wallet (especially when first starting up) - you get what you pay for though, they've got great support and is very easy to use. It's what I recommended when I was in web dev.

I don't think encryption would be the path you want to go down, the problem with encryption is that it's ruled by algorithms. If you know the algorithm, you can get the original code. Obfuscation would be more apt judging by your requirement; it will completely mess around with your code, renaming and generally throwing around everything so that it's completely unreadable (and unreversable to a certain extent) - the code will still work if they took it, but they'd have no idea how to use it or how to change it. That being said, no amount of obfuscation or encryption can stop a keen cracker. If you JUST want to prevent skiddies taking your code, then use any obfuscation software (i'd recommend PHP Protect). If you're storing sensitive information or passwords, then obfuscation will only make it a bit harder for them to find them.

Not really, but I haven't been here long and I don't run any activities etc so other than the token 'I can't log in' I don't get a chance to bond with the kids here. That's awfully cute of them though.
