Hi All Experiencing a couple of issues with WSUS, and devices not reporting their status, but are checking in. As you can see, the clients are Windows 7 (x86), and are contacting the server, but have stopped reporting their status. Has anyone seen this before, and have a fix? I have tried the basics: Cleared the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder wuauclt /resetauthorizationwuauclt /detectnowwuauclt /reportnow Any and all help is gratefully received.

Helllo Everyone. Is there a way to allow a user to only log into a single computer at a time? (for example, user John can log into any pc, but only one at a time) I'm running Server 2012r2 and Windows 7 Thanks in advance!

Hi All I am looking for a way to implement different types of authentication for OWA on Exchange 2013. I want to use forms-based authentication for users who are connection from outside the local network, and standard authentication for users who are on-site (logged onto my network using their AD credentials). Does this make sense - if you are in school, you get automatically logged on when accessing OWA, but if you are off site, you get promoted with the form. This is all to avoid the user having to enter the domain name when logging in from home! Thanks everyone!

block anonymox addon
joesheehan7221 replied to joesheehan7221's topic in Network and Classroom Management
Hi all Just in case anyone was interested. Firstly, set a up impero to block any window with AnonymoX on the page (textm window title etc), then I logged onto the file server, did a search for "[email protected]" and deleted all copies. This has resolved the issue -
Hi everyone Having some issues with the Firefox addon, AnonymoX. We have impero, and were blocking a previous version, however the newer version was released and caught us out. We now have it so anyone trying to install it fresh fails, but we need to remove it from the users who already have it installed. Anyone had any luck with this? Thanks as always Joe

Keyboard types out qwerty keys in sequence
joesheehan7221 replied to joesheehan7221's topic in Windows 8
Just to clear things up, the issue was caused by a security feature on Zone Alarm. Uninstalled and working fine! -
Hi all. I have windows 8.1. When using my keyboard in IE11 it simply types out the qwerty letters and numbers in sequence each time I press a key when I use search or the address bar etc. It also does this when I am on any site which I have accessed through IE 11. I have tried running without add ons with no sucess. Chrome and FF have the same issue, but opera works fine for some reasons. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hi Everyone We have bought a Win8 tablet as a test, but have been delighted with the news that every new user who logs on (domain accounts) get greeted with the fist sign in animation. Is there a GPO I can create/modify in order to disable this? Initial research suggests I should disable"show first sign-in animation" but this doesn't appear as an option for me... Any feedback is gratefully received! Thanks Joe

Hi enbiggen That seems to have worked for the machines in the office, I hope it will for everywhere else! I don't understand why updating the audio drivers would work though!

Hi everyone! I am currently trying to resolve an issue we are having watching youtube videos. On some pc's we have no issues at all, and on others we get 1 second of video before it errors and fails to play. I am currently working on 2 machines, one with the issue and one without. These are the same model machine, with identical images. The issue occurs regardless of who logs in, their access rights etc. I have also tried using my phone's network to see if the error could be caused by our smoothwall server, but apparently not! The issue is effecting both IE and Firefox. We are running the same version of IE and FF with the same version of Flash on both machines. Anyone got any advice for us?! Thanks!
