To add to the confusion, if I set outlook up with no email accounts and then 'Test Email Auto-configuration' it all seems to be okay?

UPDATE: This has fixed the wizard not autofilling the account from AD. It still errors with the same 'Cannot connect to Exchange Server' etc: Pressing 'OK' displays this box:

Excuse some of the server names shown (not my choice at the time) I have now removed the SRV record as it didn't solve things, didn't want to leave half fixes laying around when they weren't working; should I create one of those again or?

I've just installed a fresh copy of Xibo 1.7.4, but after the setup walkthrough I cannot login? I'm getting an error of Sorry the form has expired. Please refresh. I've tried clearing my cache/cookies, tried another machine, resetting the SQL user password, still nothing! Anyone? Thanks!

As much as I'd like to, we cannot - due to budget limitations. The issue isn't with the cert; autodiscover works perfectly externally and I distribute the self-signed cert via a GPO to suppress warnings.

Yeah - autodiscover etc. all comes back okay (the odd one gives a trusted root warning, but that's only due to a self-signed certificate)

Still having Autodiscover problems on a new Exchange 2013 server. When running Test-OutlookWebServices on a mailbox, it says 'Autodiscover: Outlook Provider' 'FAILURE' Been hacking away for days, hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation. Ask as many questions as you need!

So you would add the new and old email accounts to 'Thunderbird' and transfer within that (for SLT etc.)?

We can access them via IMAP (as that's how we would add them to Outlook). What software would that be?

Hello, We're changing our email provider from our local council to an on-site exchange server. At the moment, the local council provide two web app options. Squirrel Mail and RoundCube. Does anyone know a way (without adding the accounts to outlook) to export/forward bulk emails across at once? Lots of staff have 'many very important emails' and 'don't have the time' to forward individual emails. Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, I think you have to keep user data for a minimum of a year.

+1 for VMWare ESXi through and through. Free, takes less RAM than running an entire WinServer for a hypervisor, links with VEEAM nicely.

Hello, For some reason when booting into network (F12) some machines try and search for 'TFTP' then error. It then can take 2-4 restarts and attempts to finally get it to pull the WDS LiteTouch DHCP request boot. Anyone any ideas why it's searching for TFTP and how I can stop it? Not something I've seen before and this is a new environment to me.

Thanks for the reply. I was also reading something about needing to set permissions for autodiscover? When I navigate to the Autodisover.xml via a browser and type in my credentials I receive an error 500 relating to permissions.

Hello, I've set up an Exchange 2013 server and autodiscover doesn't seem to be working correctly. I've set an internal DNS record to resolve autodiscover.PUBLICDOMAIN.co.uk to the local server. The Outlook 2010 wizard finds the server, however gives me an error about not being able to connect to the exchange. Unless I manually go into the settings on the client and select 'connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP' and set the proxy settings, it won't connect. Can anyone advise on how to get autodiscover working? Thanks all!

PROBLEM RESOLVED Turned out my ISP hadn't opened 25 outbound... Thanks guys!

SSH'ing into my router isn't something I can do unfortunately. I think my ISP set the login details and I can't access it.
